My grandpa is really sick. His blood sugar level dropped to 36 last night (supposed to be in the hundreds) and we arent sure what caused it seeing as he is very good at keeping up his medicine. And he doesnt want to go to the hospital. So my grandma has to keep a close watch on him to make sure his blood sugar doesnt drop again.

And because of that huge delay, I had to miss cheerleading practice

Lack of sleep! I haven't gotten much sleep the past 2 nights - especially last night, when my flatmate decided to pull and all-nighter and just happened to shower at 4.30 AM. The bathroom is righ next to my bedroom, and and she was REALLY loud about it and she takes really long (like, 30-45 min) showers. So now I'm exhausted. Think I might take a nap, but 6PM is kind of awkward timing for that.

My dad's been hospitalised because he's got a "strange body" in his last vertebra. So here I am, God knows how many miles from home, and I can't do anything but wait because doctors don't know what it is yet. But since he was intervened on April from kidney cancer, we're praying it's nothing related to that horrible disease

Got a lot to study for my exams next week, too.....
So I come to DenDen, trying to take my mind off my personal stuff, and I read that bloody Cheryl Cole (my fave Aloud) said a not-so-positive thing about my beloved Spice Girls. So, basically, my day has sucked in every level, from a silly Girls Aloud vs Spice Girls thing, to my dad's health

The fact that I got 53% on my first fucking quiz of University which I studied my ass off for and that is worth 10% of my fucking sociology mark and I need to maintain a 75% average in all my classes in order to stay in my program and I feel like I am dying AND the fact that I have another quiz next week and I am questioning my entire future.

Well, another day, another disaster. I had my RM at work on the phone this morning asking what the fuck happened yesterday (another shockingly bad day that I was in charge of). I cried once I'd hung up the phone and spent the rest of the day desperately thinking of what the hell I can do to persuade people to buy stuff they probably don't need in this stage of current economic crisis! . One more day til my day off. One more day.

I found out I have an audition tomorrow at the same time i have to work and I CANNOT for the life of me find someone to cover and im freaking out because i dont want to call in sick and ruin my record

today someone got run over by a transport truck during rush hour cause people don't know how to walk ten feet and cross at the lights and the street was blocked off and what should have been a fifteen minute bus ride took an hour and fifteen minutes and I was standing the whole time and I kept falling over.

I got into a discussion at work today with a coworker about the US election, and it brought to light that he's an asshole through-and-through. When the topic about gay marriage came about, he did the classic "Oh if we allow gays to marry, what happens in 100 years? Beastiality marriages?" He called someone a fag, then he told someone a story over the phone about how he was making fun of his friend's gay best friend, doing actions and whatnot and how he thinks his friend is overreacting by being mad at him, and he doesn't see how he did any wrong. He pulled out the "Freedom of Speech" defense and everything.

Then he started saying things like "If 50 cent can call white people a honky in his songs, then I can call a gay person a fag." and he was being COMPLETELY ignorant, then saying shit like "Natives don't deserve half the priveledges we give them."

Finally, I asked him "Hey, you were born a white, straight male. What did you do to deserve the right to marry? What did you do to have the right to walk freely on this land? What did you do that makes you deserving of the rights that others don't have?" and he responded with repeating how unfair it is that natives get priveledges regular canadians don't have. I was so livid at that point that I walked away.

It totally caught me off guard, too, because I NEVER suspected such dick-headedness to come from him.
