Freemasons have confirmed that their next single with be Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer featuring Sophie Ellis Bextor. The track was originally ear-marked for her fourth album, due for release this Summer, but it seems they're putting out their own version.

.... it is our baby...ha ha not really, it is true though that our next single will feature the delectable Sophie Ellis Bextor, who has recently given birth to her second child by the way, a little boy, Kit Valentine Jones, so much love and congratulations to her and the family.
The new single featuring Sophie Elllis Bextor is called 'Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer' co-produced and written with Biff Stannard and yes you can indeed find versions of it on the internet and even youtube .....
BUT IT IS NOT THE FINISHED VERSION...
..which no-one has heard because we haven't actually finished it yet. The version doing the rounds is a version we did last year, we are just putting the finishing touches to the final mix as we speak so you won't have to wait too much longer.[*]

glad that the leaked one isn't the finished, cuz I'm not too keen on that. But coming from Freemasons, I'm sure it will rock!

Oh ok. It's just that my friend has been playing it for like a year (I'm probably exagerrating this but it's been a while!) so I'm surprised it's getting a release now. I guess if it's remixed it'll be quite different. And releasing as a Freemasons single is a good way to test the waters again, get a bit of credibility and maybe a hit single to bring her back to public consciousness.

Freemansons did an amazing job remixing Alanis' Uninvited, and this song sounds really good, love the concept!

Sophie Ellis-Bextor was reportedly back in the recording studio just nine days after her son was born via caesarean section.

Kit Valentine weighed just 2lb 10oz when he was born prematurely last month.

The singer, who is married to The Feeling guitarist Richard Jones, had thought she would take several weeks off work following the ordeal.

However, the Daily Mail reports that the 30-year-old was back in the studio working on a single with Jones just over a week later.

"Sophie was in with us to pen a duet," the band's lead singer Dan Gillespie said, adding: "She's recovered from the operation and looks great."
