I didn't like the finale at all. I do prefer this season more than freak show but my favorite season is still the first season (murder house). Hotel didn't do much for me at all I got bored watching most of the episodes.

Yeah, to me this was the weakest season so far.

My favorite is still season 2.

The finale was weird, not what I was expecting, but I liked the fact there were some positive moments since most of the show made me feel extremely sad. I thought "Hotel" was better than "Coven" and MUCH better than "Freakshow" which was pretty much a waste of time.

Question: did the finale have any clues to the upcoming season like the other finales?

There was a rumor about season 5 being about "operation top hat" (The Hills Have Eyes type of mutation). I'd be all for season 6 being about that.

What did everyone think of the first episode of 'American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare'? I had no idea what to expect this time since I didn't know what this season was going to be about and I loved it from start to finish.

I enjoyed it a lot. It had a lot of references to Murder House (the nurses and Pig Man) and some parts made me think of Coven. I like the paranormal witness docu-series feel to it. It's fresh. It's definitely about the lost Roanoke colony in the 17th century.

Spoiler: show
THE GROUND WAS BREATHING. That part was creepy as hell! And the raining teeth.

Preview for chapter 2.

I was a huge fan till season 5. I watched two or three episodes, and it was basically a Gaga show with meaningless gore and sex. Never finished the season.

From what I've seen off the previews, Season 6 seems more focused and story-driven, so might give it a chance.

At first I was very underwhelmed about the format of this one. Then I re-watched it the next day, and I realized it has potential and I should give it a chance. lol

I am loving it, to be honest, best season since the first two without a doubt! And André Holland looks dreamy with that nerdy look he has on the show

^ Evan is such a great actor, he was my favourite on 'AHS: Hotel' actually.

The 5th episode of the season was incredible once more. I truly am enjoying this season way more than I thought I could ever enjoy the show again <3

Haven't watched this week's episode yet, but this is definitely the best AHS season in a while.

Spoiler: show
Okay, from what I gather this is a "based on true events" type story line, duh. But it all ties around the Roanoke colony? Are Shelby, Matt & Co done now? Because I saw Cheyenne Jackson (I think that's his name) for next weeks episode. I'm super confused. I guess I wait until next week.

PS Roanoke colony was an actual thing, it's just obviously been embellished to fit AHS.

IMO the worst AHS up to now. I can't stay focused while watching and then you have the story tellers and then some other people are playing the story just like in reality on TV where the police gives a report and let people play certain situation... I'm not happy with it

I don't think that's it for them but I'm really excited about the rest of the story

The latest episode was the worst one so far, but then again, the first 15 or 20 minutes were wasted on introducing the new "twist".
