Sailor Moon Returns in Summer 2013!!

I watched Sailor Moon to learn English when I was in immersion class. Brings back good memories, I still have the mangas. I wish I could watch all the series in order, YTV would run them in no particular order

you have to watch the last 7 episodes, they were so epic and you'll understand a lot better. but yeah Sailor Galaxia kills them all and they are reborn again.

I'm just watching this 20th anniversary event show.

well, They didn't say new "Series" of animation.
just said "Not a Movie".

on twitter, Katsuki Masako (original voice actors of Sailor Neptune) said "didn't know".
and Pluto's original voice actor already retired.
maybe one off Tv special/BD/DVD release. without Pluto,Uranus,Neptune,Saturn.

I agree it is, I remember how excited I was the first time I saw the scene when their music started when they turned on Galaxia, but their deaths were so sad.

The series I watched on TV where the firsts ones and didn't featured the outer senshi and when I read the manga I was like "what the hell, there are other sailor scouts!"

I think that's why I had the hardest time watching SuperS initially... the absence of Uranus, Neptune, & Pluto was really felt. Hotaru/Saturn I wasn't too butt hurt about.

Even when I was a kid I could appreciate a cartoon introducing a 'different' kind of love to their very young audience. It was censored or the story was altered in quite a few countries, but the whole thing was very obvious to everyone.

I love "Sailor Moon" for the sheer fact that it was willing to go into more mature territories (death, homosexuality, transgender). You don't see that a lot on kids TV.

I'm still shocked about this, because sailor moon is something like the spice girls for me
I can't wait for the new merchandising but I'm still nervous because in Italy we still have to finish the dvd collection, now we are stopped at the 2nd season and Dynit (the company who develop them) has some problems with toei animation to continue the didtribution of next seasons.
SO i really hope after this big news they will be faster to give ok to next dvd boxes....

Anyways I'd prefer to have a 6th season, because the original anime is so perfect, i really cannot image a remake with differnt stories and different designed characters.

They never directly kissed in the anime... at least from what I remember... but there was definitely a lot of alluding to kissing and a lot of hand holding.

I have never watched the whole series, but as far as I know, Sailor Moon was censored in the USA and some scenes were cut off and that's the same reason they are known as cousins there. It's just silly.

But YAY at the new stuff coming out!
