Well it can be treated in the UK, it's not as life threatening in the UK as it is in Africa. But it's still pretty bad.

For people who thinks she's ill, it's because she got bitten whilst in Tanzania, it has nothing to do with her workload. She collapsed, because she'd caught Malaria. I hope she's okay.

Although I feel sorry for her for contracting Maleria, it will do her the WORLD of good to have some time off. She has been working soo hard since about February/March and the only time off she really has had was when she had Bronchitius. I think having at least a week off, will make sure that she is refreshed and ready and raring to go in a couple of weeks time...
Hope she feel much better ASAP

Malaria is caused by a parasite called Plasmodium, which is transmitted via the bites of infected mosquitoes. In the human body, the parasites multiply in the liver, and then infect red blood cells.

I love how she's so brutally honest saying she found out about Cheryl being ill on Twitter.

Also, the US press are picking up on Cheryl being ill as well. How weird.

I think its quite nice Nadine mentioned Cheryl. It's a shame that she wasn't told first hand by someone else like GA management.

I can't know but I assume it as when she just found it out from twitter she posted it and her next messages came within seconds and they were all full of joy and all about her packing,travelling and studio recording.She didn't start crying or be sad or at least pretend to be so worried.

Probably why its news here in the US could be because she has been hanging around Derek Hough who is well known here and she has become pretty well-known here thanks to DWTS/Derek fans. but yeah who knows..

I wonder! Only 169,000 to that target. I'd say it has a slight chance, if the album is a feature of the Christmas and New Year sales at a low price. It's at a low price right now actually, only £3.99, which is why it's currently Top 40.

The album has sold 199,000 copies in 2010 so far, making it the 18th best seller of the year.

By the way, this is Cheryl's 5th day in hospital and no updated news about how she is.
