It's obviously a serious disease but when I first heard about it I didn't give it much thought cause she's in a place where it can be treated. It's a bit worrying now though that she's been in ICU for so long without feeling any better. I really hope she starts feeling well again real soon.

Obviously,it's getting serious as she is already in hospital for 5 days. It's a getting really serious, especially if you think that Cheryl is the biggest star in UK right now so possibly the doctors are all over her.I'd recommend ya guys to read the columns I posted about Malaria (for those who don't know much) as it is a very very serious disease that can lead to death. Let's all hope she 'll manage to get through this.

She'll need recovery time, no doubt about it - both will need to be put on hold I think. I think the X Factor will be forgiving, even if that means missing out on the boot camp stages as well.

I don't think she'll give either up though. I suppose it ultimately depends on how she feels once she's out of hospital and recovering.

5 days is a long time to be in ICU, and she is said to have fluid on (in?) her lungs. I'm feeling worried, but I'm going to remain positive. She's a fighter.

Am quite worried now. Was thinking it would be something minor, maybe a week off work tops, but this is quite worrying =[

Her health and love life this year has been so shit. I hope something good happens to her.

If she dies... Well... I would be completely devestated =[ But fingers crossed she'll pull through.

Cheryl Cole today came out of intensive care and has left UCLH. She has now been transferred to a private clinic where she will remain for her recovery.

Because she is who she is.

If I was in her place I would release the first single of the new album in the Christmas week and donate all of the profits for the people who suffer from Malaria. That would mean: Great publicity / British sweetheart image @ its best, Christmas #1, Strong music comeback with enough ammount of time for her to get some rest.

To be fair, she did do the mountain climb for Comic Relief last year. All the money that was raised went towards mosquito nets.

It would be a golden opportunity for Cheryl to raise awareness about the disease next year. Hopefully she'll do it.
