Girls Aloud - Group Topic (while they're on hiatus!)

What WILL the DenDeners say?

Postby Dom on 22 Apr 2010, 18:07

I believe TSOGA and Out Of Control both got European releases. TSOGA European edition doesn't include Money, and Out Of Control was released in Europe due to The Promise being used to promote Kit Kats in Germany.

Ugh I forgot about them releasing The Promise & Out Of Control in Germany, that was a wasted opportunity. Then again it's not as if Germany is a country that has had Cheryl's greatest attention.

I once found Tangled Up here in the States at a Virgin store in Disney World. It was kind of expensive and I already had it but I did think about getting it for a while just because I found it in the store lol. It was nice to walk in a store and be able to hold one of their CDs instead of waiting for it to be delivered.

I love that the No Good Advice video apparently killed the 'silver trend' that was going to happen

Like VB did to the apparent pompoms trend with that cardigan

I really like that cover, I think the re release cover with the white background is really boring in comparison.

7 years, time does indeed fly by, not a classic or memorable pop album but still a fave of mine. Had Three really strong singles (pre Jump) I really liked them in 2003 aswell it was a fun fresh era.

I quite like that cover, especially in comparison to the Cover on the Re-Release which I found to be boring.

According to Daily Mail, Nicola has been in the studio working on new songs.

I also prefer the original album cover to the one used for the re-release to be honest.

The only thing worse than the SOTU album cover is the re-release. I know the silver clothes are tacky but atleast its something slightly more edgier and fun than the crap they wore on re-release.

They all looked bored and the clothes were HIDIOUS on re-release.

I thought the orginal was fantastic for a Popstars group but even seven years ago, I though the clothes were bit dated.

I use to hate the re-release cover. I preferred the silver costumed cover, but it just looks cheap now.

Nicola? Solo material? I may have just gotten a boner.

Also, I wish they'd stop making out that the rest of Girls Aloud are bad people for not supporting The People's Princess in everything she does. It'd be like complaining that Geri didn't go to every Melanie C concert.

Okay, as long as I know that's a common reaction to that news.

I hate the idea of a solo Nicola album, I couldn't stand a full song of just her voice.

The re-release cover was so awful. The only nice thing was the wording. Hahaha. The girls looked like they are so tired or they were trying to look cool and tough but backfired. Otherwise, I love the initial cover coz I thought "No Good Advice" video is pretty badass. :P
