Absofuckinglutely Amafuckingzing!

I'm starting to think that even though on frist listten Stick + Stones is one of those songs that sound amazing but not single worthy, it really would be an amazing single. Most people seem to love it and a hell lot of people can relate to its lyrics.

it would be unconventional as a single, bu to be honest, Nicola going solo and this whole album is already very unconventional, so why not giving it a shot, since this is clearly the most personal and important song on the album?

I love Yo-Yo and it is obviously a lot more commercial than Sticks + Stones, but girl ain't gonna sell and we know it. so she should be allowed to go for it and release something different and inspirational.

Here's the thing... regardless of how Nicola's album has performed it has been critically acclaimed and appreciated as hard well-crafted music. The music speaks for itself and I think Nicola herself knows that of all people and doesn't really give a shit about numbers. This is just an amazing album. She's by far my favorite member of Girls Aloud... the album is her "Free Me" perfect pop perfection, new, and perfectly produced.

Bloody hell!

Will we see another single, or will the label bottle it, and not release Yo-Yo

Wow 55 places

How far did Insatiable fall in its second week again?

Will we see another single, or will the label bottle it, and not release Yo-Yo

I reckon they will let her release it but if it flops like the other 2 and doesn't get people to buy the album she'll be dropped.

^^Taking her latest interviews into account, I think she's only got a 1-album deal, so she won't be dropped, they'll just let her go. I'm still super glad girl got to release a fantastic and substancial album that comes from her heart and soul. I'll always treasure Cinderella's Eyes.

So unfair

I wonder how much better it would have performed had she released it under a major label.

I hate to think how Geri's comeback album will do, but then I'd just be glad to have it

If it had been 'Sticks & Stones' or 'Sticks and Stones' I'd have minded a lot less, weirdly... but it's even got the '+' that was unique to Nicola's tag, tut.

Nicola's version is going to drown on Google search now that Cher's associated with the title.

^yeah, that's why I hate about it. "stick and stones" is quite a comon saying but the "+" tag made it special for Nicola.

It's funny how her first single is called "swagger jagger" and all she's doing is being that all the time, doing things and getting styles other have already done before.

And what's worse is that her album will get more attention than Nicola's, so if by any chance she releases Stick + Stones, the average public will think she's the one copying Cher.

So sad that the album failed to gain momentum :( It was such a well crafted piece of work.
I must say that I have stopped listening to it though, maybe I overplayed it a bit?

I hope she´ll do a mini-tour though! I´d love to sing along to all the songs!!

Ugh why did she have to have the + In there if it had "and" in the title instead I wouldn't mind so much, but the + just seemed so unique to Nicola

Oh guys calm down, its a + sign =P

Cinderellas Eyes is a great album and regardless of sales and chart positions, which i couldn't give a shit about these days, its a lot better than half the crap in the charts anyway. And I'm so happy to actually get an album from her, and what makes it even better is that it isn't a standard pop album that was written by other people, it is Nicolas own stuff.

#158 in its third week.

17-72-158

Total sales are just over 11,000. 8,473 in the first week, about 1,800+ in the second week and 800+ in the third.

I have doubts that they will go ahead with Yo-Yo... they may as well just throw money in the bin, it'd have the same effect as releasing another single. I think they're going to pull the plug on this project.

I like Gladiator, but some of the lyrics are too dodgy. Not that she'd get played on TV and Radio anyway, so the lyrical content is probably a moot point... but it's just not single material, imo. Strong album track.
