Just checking with the Admins, as I can't remember clearly how to.

But why do you want to delete it? You've been here only for 1 month...

because there are some people that have been rude on here and I don't want to be a part of a community that acts in this manner.

Or you could just click "logout" and refrain from clicking "log in' in the future...

Or, y'know, you could ignore the people who are rude to you and continue posting. You only have six posts, four of which are asking to delete your account. You haven't even given DenDen a chance to be nice to you!

Or you could opt for trying to call people on their rudeness and provide some positivity on here.
It's what I try to do ;-)

Totally signed! I'm thinking about leaving this website as well. So done with it. I used to share some rare stuff, but after some comments or totally none I decided never to that again.

No. A user can be deactivated so they are no longer able to use their account, but posts will remain.

However in most cases we recommend that the user simply clicks "log out", if they feel like DenDen is no longer the place for them.

Then I would say that user has a lot of work ahead of them trying to delete all 9256 of their posts (if the forum allows it) before logging out forever. But really, once it's on the Internet, you can't take it back. Your name and posts will still appear in quotes, etc.

The easier way to 'disappear' is to change your username to some random thing. And then never log in again. That way your old posts will remain visible with that new name, so most people won't know who 'User9378439' is/was.

i was going to do that but as you said some of my posts are in archive section so cannot be deleted by me :(

You got 9258 posts. You'll get tired of it before you've even deleted 100 posts*. If you want to leave DD and don't want your name to be associated with this forums (not like TeddyBear would actually link to your real self, but anyway) my suggestion is the best one and probably the only one that Mods will approve. I don't think they'll give you freedom to delete all your "life" here.

*When you delete a post on a normal circumstance (before anyone else has replied to the same thread), it takes a while to load. It' not as fast as posting or editing a post, it's way slower.

That's nonsense. You can easily delete a member, as you can block a member. Please, delete my account. Don't care about the posts, though. A few members (yes, the two most hated) are really ruining the whole conversation for everyone. As Nicki & Ciara would say I'm Out.

Great way to say goodbye, by telling a mod what they can and can't do on a forum they've been working on for years. He'll be missed!
