Thanks for the explination Erick! one more question (You said if I had any to ask here lol)

how big does the image have to be? cuz I had a big image but when I had the cd shape over it the top and bottom of the image weren't big enough for the cd, so does the image have to be a certain size in pixels to cover the whole cd?

Sorted it, the pic wasn't completely square so it was squashing the sides in which made it do the top and bottom as well, I chopped some off the sides lol

Those were some VERY good directions, especially for someone who has never really used photoshop before. I managed to not only create a little something, but thanks to the CD template, and your fantabulous instructions...it isn't half bad. Thank you.

What kind of sticker/label are you using to print? If you bought a CD label kit, they usually have some instructions in the box/leaflet. Most of them use a Microsoft Word template, like a page that have the markers where the CD label/sticker will be in the page, so basically you can save your creation from Photoshop as a JPG or BMP and just add to Word page and print. If not, get the instructions/guides from the kit and sort it out on Photoshop (the hardest, imo).

To be honest with you, I just used the template layers to have an idea on how and where I should align the picture, and crop/resize it properly. After checking the pic was completely aligned to a CD shape (using the layers on top of it), i just turned all the layers of and saved a square picture to paste into MS Word and add to a Word CD Label template over all text and shapes. What I got was a square picture printed, but since the paper itself comes properly cut, once you take the adhesive label off of it, it's perfect. But that was just me, dunno if that's gonna work out for you. Get me on MSN, babe, my address if right there on the right. ;)
