i predit germany vs. spain. the italy game will have woken the spanish up to beat russia, who are good, but not unbeatable. germany winning against turkey should not be too hard for the german team, they're not exactly the strongest team, so when the germans manage to get an early clear lead and not become too tired in the last 10 minutes, it will be fine ;)

Im hoping for a germany spain final.
it would be nice to see spain in the finals, since they havent in say... 88 years. and then for germany to win so i can get my oma to make shulbabuba (i cant spell it but its this REALLY good german desert) and she said she would if germany won ;)

I think you've got your stats mixed up a bit. They won the whole Euro in 1964. They hadn't beaten Italy in a competitive match in 88 years ;)

No one in Turkey expected our team would come this far. I personally didn't think we would even get any point. It's not that we have a bad team, but we played our worst football against Portugal, and continued to do so. But if we had won all those games easily, it wouldn't have been that much fun. It's not just what you win, but how you win, that makes football such a popular game.

I think Germany will win. They are a better team than the combination of Swiss&Checz&Croatian teams, and we have no players left :D I only can hope we will play good, and make the game enjoyable to watch.

Russia was amazing against Holland. That Arshavin is really talented. Krikov also. Actually I don't remember all their names, but they all played fantastic. I want Russia to win the tournement.

I'm hoping for Germany (of course) and for Spain. I think Russia played great, but I'd love to see Spain to reach the final, as they always had bad luck during past tournaments. And also I want to see Fernando Torres as many times as possible. :$

It would be fun. And unexpected as that was not what I was predicting before the tournament.

For the sport as a whole, the objective spectator wants a Spain-Germany final. I think Spain could do it, they just seem to have a little bit more edge in midfield, more youth and zest.
