Well, I was watching a few of the heats because my brother had it on and I decided to chill with him, and wow - some of them were pretty closely contested!

Men's freestyle 4x100m relay, USA came out of nowhere in the last length and won because the French swimmer was extending his arm forward instead of already reaching! And the world record got SMASHED! Even Canada, finishing 6th, beat the previous one/were close to it
And the women's 400m freestyle, the American was winning for the majority of the race, and then the Briton came out of nowhere AGAIN, and won merely because she extended her hand, while the American reached with a flat hand

That 4x100 free was CRAZY! It was so amazing to watch.. especially the look on the French swimmers' faces.

And don't mean any harm by that, just a bit of fun retaliation for that smack talking.

To make matters worse GB won the Gold AND the Bronze, bloody miracle since the last time we won a gold was 60 years ago for female swimmers.

They were both very entertaining swims. That's how I like it. The men's freestyle definitely had me going, especially forthe last lap.

Swimming competitions are always a fun thing to watch. I mean u get all the adrenaline rush within that few seconds/minutes. I just love it. Michael Phelps is amazing. He's even faster than a fish. Hahaha. I bet he was a merman in his previous life. Hahhaa.
