Pretty dull year... but my top 5 is Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland (doesn't sound that great live though) and Ukraine.

Image good luck Norway!

MartinC wrote:OMG....The swedish song is so BAD. He looks like a dyke too. Worst entry for us this faar. :puke:

was there really the need to use the word 'dyke' in there? couldnt you have just said 'lesbian'? How offencive would it have been if i would have said 'he looks like a faggot'? Dyke is a swear word.

I think Norway has the best song so far. The Dutch song makes me want to fall asleep.

I've no idea of any of the songs in this year's Eurovision Song Contest (apart from UK) - I've got a few day's too brush up before Saturday's grand final.

I can't wait for the semifinal tomorrow. I'm mostly excited 'cause it's in Sweden this year, but also because there's a few tracks I like tomorrow.
Ireland (I want them to win)
The Netherlands
Ukraine (nonsense lyrics but I like the music)

Where usually songs lose their touch the more you hear it. This one grows and gets even better. For me that is anyway.
I love the voice, the music..I love how she doesn't give a rats ass about what everyone else thinks she should or shouldn't do.
And she stays close to her own roots. She's not wearing a dress..no glitter..no other useless crap.
Just Anouk & the 3 background vocals. I love it ^.^
Though I still wish they had used a choir. I know they can't have the kids choir on stage..but still..I miss the impact a choir has to the song.

I'm glad Denmark, Ukraine and Ireland went through :) ... along with Norway and Sweden they're my top 5 this year. Too bad Cyprus didn't make it, beautiful song!

Those butterflies and the greetings from Australia were so cute lol.

Not really getting the love for Ireland's song. It's very generic. And same thing goes to Denmark; so annoying that it's going to win!

Netherlands has by far the best song, followed by Belgium and Ukraine.

Denmark is deff. gonna be top 5!
And I love the song, and I normalle hate the Danish entrys but this once is different (but usually, I like them months AFTER the contest.. suddenly at a bar and I'm like "Aaaaaalll niiight looong" or "Come on boooyys come on giiirls".. The lyric for teardrops does it for me, it's great written.

I was so shocked that we didn't go through... come on the song is sooo good! I'm really dissapointed, but than again, a lot of it is politics and money, some have huge fireworks on stage and we didn't have anything apart from 3 dancers with the singer cause the tv station had a low budget this year.
