Re: Supposed US deal
as I was listening to The Way You Watch Me today, it got me thinking...it'd be a perfect US single. Travie McCoy/Gym Class Heroes are everywhere on the radio right now and it'd fit right in.

Yeah, that feature could help them, but I still think it's the worst song on the album!
And I admit I'd rather have no more singles from On Your Radar than 'The Way You Watch Me' as 4th single!

They removed "Do What You Want With Me" from your edition?

The last minute of 'Do What You Want With Me' - better than at least 80% of the album. Not even kidding, it's glorious.

That song is.. everything!
The last chorus + whatever comes after that. Just amazing.

Una and Rochelle tweeted back and forth today about going to the meetings in LA today...Una isn't going, of course.

I heard White Lies playing in some store last week, this is the second time I've heard em. The first being Heart Takes Over in Victorias Secret. I just... love hearing them in public here in America! Its so exciting!

Back in October, the first page...

The All Fired Up fivesome will be flying to America in the next few weeks to put pen to paper and launch an assault on the charts.
Despite rumours that the girls are to split due to Una Healy being up the duff, I can reveal the group will:
ā—¸ Sign a five-season deal with E! for their own reality TV series.
ā—¸ Attempt to crack the US by signing a new deal with a US record label.
ā—¸ Move to America (minus Una) after their UK tour finishes to set up home Stateside.

You people have no idea how much I can't wait for them to try....I'm not sure how far they'll get, but we NEVER EVER get ANYTHING over here. No Atomic Kitten (1 single doesn't count!), no Girls Aloud, barely any Solo Spice, no Sugababes, No Satudays. I JUST received my On Your Radar and Headlines Imports in the mail this week. They'll have my full undying support over here....
Also, I may be wrong, but I think there's already a group called "The Saturdays" over here...

^^
I know what you mean, pretty much everything I love musically is based in the UK and we very rarely if ever get anything. I had some hope with Cheryl on X-Factor but we know how that went. I really hope they give it a shot here, I'm honestly not expecting amazing things to happen for them but I would love to see them give it a shot. Especially because it's the Saturdays my favorite group in the world at the moment (well active), I really hope if this happens they can do well over here. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what ends up happening.

Right.. and I had hopes for the Sugababes with Sweet 7, too... and we all know how THAT went. I just wish I lived on that side of the US, so I'd at least have the slightest chance of meeting them. I heart them so much, I hope that if they don't succeed over here that they don't get discouraged and split up completely, and also Una's baby will have a factor too. I remember them saying once that if one of them wants to leave, they wouldn't continue on... now who knows if they'll hold true to that (Sugababes 3.0 anybody?) but I do have this gut wrenching feeling that change is definitely coming.
