Director is the person who did Higher. Do like that video so should be a good'un

I'm not sure what to think. I like the song, but with the way things are going, perhaps they are releasing it due to the Travie connection?

+1. My least favorite.

And I really think instruments are too quiet and vocals stand out too much. When Travie appears, it even seems like they're turning the volume down on the radio to let the speaker speak.

I take it I'm the only one who really wants this? I think the song is great and hopefully if they don't mess it up it could result in good sales. It will at least attract more mainstream attention than MHTO.

hate this track, it sounds like a very dated, cheaply produced demo...

At least it's better than Faster.

Not saying the song itself is better. But as a single, it's a wiser move. IMO, Faster is like a half-arsed Notorious. I love it, but it has the same vibe and style, but in a not-so-amazing way. Same as maybe GRGS has a similar sound and style as All Fired Up (in this case, way better). TWYWM sounds different and would give yet another edge of the album's overall sound (something MHTO didn't because there are barely ballads on it).

And knowing that Una will most likely be absent from promotion as she will be 7/8 months pregnant and too tired after the tour, etc, it makes TWYWM a wise single move for them. The song doesn't scream "heavy dance routine" so Una could even do a few performances those days where she's not tired. GRGS and WL would look really really badly if they're done without a dance routine.

But I agree with some posts above. The song needs some kind of single mix. The album version is badly edited. Whoever played with the volume of the music and their backing vocals while Travie sings, should be fired.

imo, If This Is Love, Forever Is Over, Missing You and My Heart Takes Over are worse than The Way You Watch Me (not saying they were bad singles, though. Well... MHTO was).

LOL I knew from the start they would pick this as single. Travis is "hot property" atm, so they need to milk that success rofl
About the song, I actually quite enjoy it... I think British radios will play it quite a lot (I think this can actually save the album) :)

Don't think it's their best single, but it is def better than 'ITIL' and 'JCGE'

for 4th single, i'd def go with 'Get Ready, Get Set', 'Faster' or 'Last Call' :p

My only fear with them relying on a rapper for a good chart position is that it's really not a guarantee for a big success. A recent Travie collaboration with Iyaz missed the UK Top 75 charts. Of course that won't happen with The Saturdays, but it does demonstrate that having Travie on a single doesn't necessarily equate to huge success.

Even having Flo Rida on 'Higher' didn't get them a very good peak, and Flo Rida is accustomed to having Top 3 peaks and sales far higher than what The Saturdays achieve - 'Higher' is certainly not one of Flo Rida's biggest moments here.

You've just given me hope. (disregarding that these are pre album singles) The had high peaks in the single charts. Maybe this could be their biggest hit*

*with a single mix, killer video, good rotation, heavy promo and five members (although with Una that seems doubtful)

Well, they always tend to do better with "the 2nd single after the album is released", so maybe the 4th OYR single (2nd after the album) will have the same luck.

I doubt it will bomb like MHTO did anyway.

Apparently, Vanessa said "so on to our next single" before performing this at tonight's show.

All I can say, being an optimist, is that "Rolling Back The Rivers" was the music video slated to be debuted on TV from Girls Aloud and it ended up being "The Loving Kind" .... I'm crossing my fingers this is the same situation.
