Has anyone tried Rimmel soft kohl black eyeliner. Its incredibly cheap but I find it really good. Just wondered what others thought, how it compared to what others have tried?
Thanks!
Katie
Yes! I bought it once after seeing it recommended in a magazine. I quite like it but I tend to use it only for like general wear not when I fully do my make up to go out. It's a lot better than other pencil eyeliners I've bought.
I'm starting to prefer liquid liner though, just in terms of applying it. I've got Maybelline Liner Express, which goes on and comes off nicely and has a good applicator.
I am TERRIBLE at liquid eyeliner. sometimes my mom or sister will put it on for me and it looks good, but i just cant seem to do it myself. for an artist i have a ridiculously unsteady hand. lol. but I do like the Kohl eyeliners. I used to use it a lot when i was younger, but i tend to go for a white eyeliner lately for daytime wear. seems to make my eyes sparkle a bit. I have quite dark under eye circles so i tend to not wear dark colours on my eyes unless im going for a proper smouldering look. looks a bit heavy on me.
on a side note, ive seen a dress i absolutely love, but i dont have a CLUE where i can get ones similar, or what sort of shoes id wear with them. was wondering if anyone could give me some tips.

any ideas? I cant wear balet pumps unless they have straps, and things with toeposts kill my feet. (im a wuss and cant handle the blisters). anyone got any ideas. I thought maybe cowboy boots but they arent very fashionable atm so i cant find them in any shops. I do keep seeing this sort of shoe though (but in brown leather and a few sparkels, amilio lucax do a nice pair but theyre too narrow).

^^If I ever can't get my liquid eyeliner just right I correct with a cotton bud.

Hmmm, I don't know where you can get a dress like that but I think a gladiator would be super fashionable with that dress (similar to what you posted there). I would even do a Wellington with it, for an edgier look!

A little while ago Primark had some nice little dresses that were similar to that, although they didn't have straps.
Also, I know this isn't patterned but it's the same kind of shape - I like it, it's cute.

Quite a few of the more affordable shops now have dresses like that in. It's definitely a try on before you buy though as the bust area is a very fixed shape so you kind of have to fit to that with no give, or disguise for us smaller ones!

Does anyone knows the 'Tini Beauty brand? I found a nail polish that looks a bit like the Illamasqua one for a lot less but I don't know if it's any good (aka better than NYC cosmetics) http://www.tinibeauty.com/products/topp ... _flame.cfm

it would be sooo busy if there was one I think.
We have one Primark in Holland(in Rotterdam) but it's always soooo busy there. It isn't nice anymore to go there because just everywhere are people fighting about clothes, people pass out, mothers with screaming children etc. It's sad, because they sometimes have nice clothes(and cheap!).

Re: General Personal Fashion Questions HERE!
ok this might be a dumb question, but here i go: i have a couple of short-sleeve casual shirts that are kind of long (they're down to my hips), i usually wear them with skirts (where i tuck the shirt into the skirt), but i feel like i can wear them other ways too, but don't know what to wear them with or how to accessorize. the thing is that they're quite long (not big, because they fit me well, they're just long), so i just kept tucking them into skirts since that's all i came up with. any ideas?

I would defo wear them with leggings or skinny jeans! Add a few long gold necklaces and come gladiators and you're set! Throw on a boyfriend blazer or cardi for more cuteness!
(I'm wearing that very outfit today)

Is that skirt too short for work? I'm having a night out after work and I can't come back to change at home. I'd like to wear that to work but I,m having seconds toughts. It looks ok to me but I'd gladly have some opinion. At worst, I'll bring it in a bag at work and will change at 5 when leaving work.
sorry the pic is blurry because with flash it was just a white spot!

It doesn't look too short to me. It's longer than what most girls are wearing. IMO, it's appropriate work attire. Then again, I've never had a desk job so I wouldn't know. If it's longer than your middle finger (put your hands to your sides to measure) than you should be okay.

In the end I wore it to work and some poeple had shorter dress than me so it was all right. I guess I was just insecure for nothing

Its difficult to say what's appropriate as its mostly based on what others around you wear...and peer pressure, sadly!

For the office, I wouldn't go shorter than an inch above the knee.

I bought this dress last week.
But I don't know how to wear it nice? What kind of jewellery would look good with it? And what to do with my hair?
The picture isn't very good, but I hope you can see the dress a little bit..

Its a lovely dress and looks great on your shape. I think maybe a beige/neutral coloured cardi, either a cropped one or a longer one with a belt over everything (a thin plaited belt). Its the sort of dress that most coloured jewellry would go with. Classic silver or pearls or funky beaded jewellry. Just remeberas the dress is patterned it is best to keep everything else you wear with is (cardi/belt/shoes jewellery) to the the same colour to avoid an over busy look.
Good buying work!

Thanks!
Most of my jewellery is silver so I think I'll wear something of that. A belt is a good idea! I've got a lot of belts, so I'm sure I can find a nice one to wear with the dress

Erin I need your help! What can you tell me about ELF makeup? I want to order some because it's so cheap but I want to know what to stay away from. I mean I'm sure it isn't perfect a+ quality considering it's all like $1 but do you know of anything I should stay away from, anything I should go for in particular?
