Moonface!

Postby Hann » 17 Aug 2012, 00:49

I've been on steroids since I was 8 months old and they have always caused me to have a deep voice and a round face. Ive recently had my dosage upped and my face has just expanded massively. I look like an actual balloon, just totally round. Anyone got good hairstyle/makeup tips for this? I have tiny eyes and then just a massive round pasty face. I tried contouring but I think Im too pale. It just looks streaky.

I have been told by my hairstylist that I should part my hair off-center because I have a long face... So I'd imagine you'd do the opposite for a round face.

Subtle high/low lights in your foundation can also make a difference by mimicking shadows in your face, adding depth, but you'd have to check YouTube, there's probably some tutorials on there.

I do center parting most of the time. I've not got a round face (I don't think), but I do notice it makes my face look pretty long.

I have a round face too. I generally do center parts, but I for whatever reason I can part anywhere and it'll look fine.

I found this, I hope it helps!

I know all about it :( I also have a moonface. I also got a hump on my back from it. You're not alone. If I was a girl i'd just try to have big full hair so my face would look a bit smaller in comparison? Thats what i try to do myself abit. Also dont make the brows too thin, try to keep them as thick yet shaped as possible. I think its those small things that will help. As far as contouring, just keep practicing :) Its all about blending with the right set of tools. big fluffy brushes. the smaller the more streakier. You can use a medium sized brush to set the contour and blend it out with a big soft brush
It's not that serious
