There was a thread about it, I think it's somewhere in Small Talk.

However, she was working on a "sprock" version of it, and we got to hear a bit of the track when a Skoda commercial was released some weeks ago.
Here you can hear the whole song. Hopefully this is just a long commercial and not a serious video, cause it's extremely cheap.

It's still unknown if this will serve as first single from the 5th album, or promotional single, or just a stand alone single for the commercial.
She's currently recording the new album and doing some concerts.

Well, it does look too cheap to be the video for a comeback single. But the song sounds much better now. She looks fantastic - like the good old Anastacia we love. And the city is so beautiful - is it Prague?

I think the sprock version was going ot be called just 'Deeper Love', but in the video I see it's the complete title.
Anyway, last week, when asked about the song, she replied on twitter:

Single released will B w/the New Album w/Glenn producing. The DL/ WCYD song will B just released 2 itunes when Skoda cn approve.

She also said the proper first single will be premiered during the Night Of The Proms. I don't know what that is and when it's taking place, though.
But it sound like it's not far away.

But I'm so excited that we will see another album. She still has the potential to be big. She just needs the right songs as before.

What does "sprock" mean btw, never heard that word

She invented that term when she released her 3rd album.
It's supposed to be a mixture of soul, pop and rock. Basically it's the sound of her third album.

Her tweet is messed up, but it's supposed to mean that:

> Glenn Ballard is the executive producer (who produced half of her 3rd album, including 'Left Outside Alone', 'Sick And Tired', 'Heavy On My Heart' and other gems like 'Pieces Of A Dream', 'In Your Eyes')

Hopefully she can bring the pop/rock sound back into the charts. I'm tired of auto-tune and dance music at the moment.

The sprock version of the song is great actually. It would've been a good 1st single from the album, I'm sure radios across europe would play it.

Her 3rd album was brilliant too. She went downhill with the 4th one by releasing a crap song as the first single.

I agree, the first single couldn't sell the album at all. The second one was a filler.

And gems like 'All Fall Down', 'Heavy Rotation', 'I Call It Love' have been wasted.
Even the supposed third single 'Defeated' seemed to be appreciated, despite my indifference towards the song.


Apparently she confirmed the new album is scheduled for November.

I hope they start to air the commercial, it'll really push the song in some country.
Just like 'Papi' was a #3 hit in Italy for J.Lo, and went platinum, thanks to the Fiat commercial.

I know, iTunes stopped working for me one year ago and I can't seem to be able to fix it.

She didn't release it on any other digital store! Too bad, it seems like she doesn't fancy my 0.99 €.

I think the success of 'Absolutely Positively', sensational #39 hit on the Slovakian airplay chart, got to her head!

I was going to ask if the single was going to have a physical release but then I remembered she's in Melanie C territory now

I still can not believe somebody thought it'd be a good idea to release "Absolutely Positively" as a single! I mean what kind of people work in those record labels? I'm thinking they were trying to get rid of her so did this on purpose to sabotage the whole project so they can stop investing in it.

It just doesn't make sense to release a filler when you had songs like "Defeated" and "Naughty" who were typical fun Anastacia songs that people would have loved.

Maybe they thought Ne-Yo would do to her what Timbaland did for Nelly Furtado and when they saw that didn't happen they were ready to give up on the album quick.

Apparently Guetta asked her to collaborate, and she refused, cause she doesn't have time and doesn't want to distance herself from her sound.

Good for you, Ana.

However I gotta say that I didn't despise the Tiësto collaboration, and 'Heavy Rotation' (the track) was spot on.

I know everyone is tired of Guetta. But I loved his singles with Kelly Rowland, Jessie J, Jennifer Hudson and SIA.

Would have loved to hear him together with Ana.

p.s. Do you know if she's still with Universal or did they drop her after her last album flopped? In other words does she have a record deal at the moment?
