Thank you for posting this!

Lovely performance, ill never tire of hearing this live.

I've just noticed that Radio 2 have b-listed 'Instant Crush' now, so perhaps with some UK TV performances as well, all will not be lost?

I actually like the album. I guess it's because I had really low expectations from it cause I only knew one of the covers. But thanks to that, I've heard it as if it was a new original album (just like 'Torn', I only found out t's a cover this year).

It's not the album of the year and it certainly isn't nothing new, but I think it's a solid record. It also depends on the mood you're in. I wanted a chill out, relaxed record, and that's what it is so I enjoyed it on first listen and I'm enjoying it even more on the second.

It reminds me a lot of Lucy Hale's album (one of the girls from Pretty Little Liars that's also a singer), with that almost-country style that fits Natalie's voice really well.

I think if this had been released in 2007 instead of the Singles Collection, when she still had radio support and some sort of fanbase, it would've sell quite well. But it's been released on a time when no ones cares about her anymore, so I can't see it doing anything for her.

Well the album is nice, I love a few tracks but I think it has too many ballads.

+1
I generally support your opinion, I was thinking the same thing but waiting for someone to name some stand out tracks.

Is there a booklet with this album?! Does Natalie state WHY she cover songs by men while removing any smashing crescendos? I can't tell if it's supposed to be a feminist angle.

Why, oh WHY has she wasted away her last 2 album eras?

It's a good album. What I like about it the most is that I've barely heard any of the tracks before. I only knew Cannonball and Friday I'm In Love, so it's like a brand new album to me. :music:

Same for me. A couple of listens in, and I love it. It's such a beautiful little listen and feels like a proper cohesive collection. Natalie's voice is still so effortless, no one emotes as well as her, for me.

I just hope however it performs, she isn't deterred from finishing the new original album.

2,848 sales Image

By the way it was revealed that 'Left of the Middle' has sold 1,150,422 copies in total in the UK, and 'Torn' has sold 1,196,924 copies (extremely close to going double platinum!). It sold 970,000 copies within the 90s.

I saw Natalie performing live on last Friday at festival in Finland. It was my first time I saw her live and it was amazing. She played about 45 minutes and was with the live band.

Would be nice to have a sales update on White Lilies Island and Counting Down the Days aswell. The former is my fave Natalie album.

Sales like these make me wonder whether Geri and Melanie C could achieve top 20 placing's for their coming albums... :music:

Same here. I know sales are lower for everyone, but since Melanie C only usually sells album to her loyal fans, I guess that her sales should stay more or less the same as on 'The Sea' era, at least on first week.

Not sure about a Top20 placing but I wouldn't be surprised if, being still flop records, they both managed to get Top40 albums with little effort.

With Geri... We don't really know. We assume people are not interested on her cause her social media doesn't seem to have that much followers, but she's been away from music for too long, and just after one flop single+album, so maybe she actually still has some "under the table" fanbase out there that would buy her music despite not following he personal life on Twitter.
