Why do so many of these new artists feel like staging this kind of crap? It's so embarrassing and sad.

Anyway, I have only listened to the first single of the album and I thought it was shit, but I only came here to say that I like her more every day because she looks genuine to me unlike many other current popstars.

I listened to the full album today and I was surprised. I can't say I love it and I can't say I liked it either, cause I had it playing on the background while I did other things. But I have to say I enjoyed some parts of it and some moments got my attention. I will give it another proper go for sure.

And about her I have to say that she doesn't appeal to me at all. I just can't really stand her for more than a few minutes. But I've been reading some interviews she's done over the last years and, like VodkaMouth has said, she sounds and looks genuine. I still think she forces her attitude a bit (but that's part of the business too), but the things she says are really on point. She speaks a lot of truth and she seems a really down to earth person despite of her "inappropriate" and "eccentric" personality. So I respect her.

To be honest this whole Taylor VS Katy VS Nicki VS Miley is all a bit battle of the basics who stage feuds or get high profile boyfriends to get some press because they're otherwise incredibly boring.

But yes, I agree that Miley is turning out to be the best one of them all because she seems to give no fucks.

The more I listen to it, the better it sounds. Specially the slow tracks. I'm surprised they used 'Dooo It' to promote the album, it's easily the worst song.

A 14-track album was released a few days ago under her real name (Destiny Hope), titled 'Bang Me In The Box'.

iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/es/album/bang- ... 1037186315
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/1X1p7KzTB40tBeAfSweGYZ

Destiny Hope
Bang Me In The Box

1. 1 Sun
2. Bang Me In The Box
3. BB Talk
4. Evil Is But A Shadow
5. Fweaky
6. I Forgive Yiew
7. Karen Don't Be Sad
8. I Get So Scared
9. Lighter
10. Slab Of Butter (Scorpion)
11. Something About Space Dude
12. Tiger Dreams
13. Space Boots
14. The Twinkle Song

Weird move to "release" it as Destiny Hope when it was announced as a Miley Cyrus record and it's been on her website for days. It would've made more sense if it had been a Destiny Hope album since the beginning.

The songs that are not included on the Spotify album:

-Dooo It!
-The Floyd Song (Sunrise)
-Fuckin Fucked Up
-Milky Milky Milky
-Cyrus Skies
-I'm So Drunk
-Tangerine
-Pablow The Blowfish
-Miley Tibetan Bowlzzz

I think they picked the 14 best songs, although I would've included 'Pablow The Blowfish' too. I love that one.

Ps.: I played '1 Sun' last night to a friend of mine that's a huge Gaga fan, telling him it was her brand new single that has just leaked and he totally believed it. I can't get over how much she sounds like her on that song. And not only the voice, but the whole thing. It sounds like some reject from Born This Way, mixed during the Artpop era.

I imagine that'll be someone else releasing it on iTunes, not her. It happens sometimes to artists. Liberty X have tens of 'unofficial' albums on iTunes.

^Apparently it's been released by Mike Will Made It (MWMI Productions). It seems fans don't know yet if this is a released backed up by Miley but using her real name so her label can't claim any rights, or it was actually Mike Will that released it on his own without permission. Apparently the songs that were left out are the songs he didn't produce.

It's funny and fits the song. And I love the lyrics, I'm going through the theme of it right now.

I just can't wait to find it on spotify :(

It's weird that this album hasn't still been "released" anywhere. The only "official/legal" way to hear it is through her website, isn't it?

Since it's already for free over there, i don't know why they don't simply upload it on Spotify/Apple Music. It's like they don't want anything from that record to chart at all.

Indeed, it's a very good question. I don't exactly understand what's happening. New market strategies?
She's probably promoting less than she did with her previous album but still she performed at the VMA and SNL, not exactly low key shows and she is now on tour.

Hhhmmm I think she stopped giving a fuck. Good on her.

This record is clearly not commercial at all and she probably just released it on her website so she could go on tour.
Personally, I am currently complete in love with Karen Don't Be Sad and The Twinkle Song. Both awesome songs!

You can not give a fuck and still make your music available to listen on streaming platforms. With the current situation, if we were all to act legal, no one could listen to her songs individually on playlists, or on their iPods, or parties, etc, cause the only way to listen to them would be through her website. I think that's not simply "not giving a fuck", but "not caring enough" also.

For some reason, they want this record to stay away from the charts, but with that strategy they're forcing her fans and casual listeners to go down the illegally-downloading route. If she really doesn't give a damn about it and doesn't want to chart, then she should put the album up for download on her website too.
