TheBiatches wrote:Dare (La La La)" is absolutely dreadful.

I really love Dare, but I'll admit, the verses are terrible. I think it'd be cool if Dare were like Addicted to you, and the verses were in Spanish and the chorus was in English. Supposedly an official Spanglish version exists, but I can only find fanmade ones. I also find the Brasil mixes to be much more interesting, too.

She has become so predictable and typical. Really weird.

I think it'd be less boring if they actually USED more of the group dancing scenes. I was underwhelmed, too.

World cup version of Dare

in Spanish

Also, it seems that she's working on an ap/game with the Angry Birds people and has a role in the upcoming Disney movie, Zootopia. Contributing a song for the soundtrack, too.

I wish she'd stop with all that boring football music and actually make some good music that doesn't follow any 5 minute trends. I want her sense of humor and clumsyness back in her music. Black hair need to come back too, she's been blonde way too long.

I also want her to go back to her roots and release some quality music. Not as weird as the Oral Fixation records, though. Something along the lines of 'Donde Estan Los Ladrones?' and 'Laundry Service'. She was a really credible artist until she started with the 'She Wolf' crap and following trends.

Her last album included some great songs, though. I loved 'Spotlight', 'Medicine', '23', 'The One Thing' and 'Loca Por Ti' (this one is a cover). I think she was going the right way with it, but she gave into the trendy temptation by including and releasing 'Dare' and 'Can't Remember To Forget You'.

Dónde Están Los Ladrones? is perfection

As far as her english albums, I'd say "Shakira." is really good!

Call me crazy, but I thought She Wolf was a really solid album. The singles were good and Why Wait, Good Stuff, and Men In This Town were all good songs, too.

Thank God there's still Monica Naranjo serving quality Spanish music, at least one of the big 90s Spanish speaking divas is developing.

I wish Shakira didn't pass on this song, it's so her. I could see her doing a Whenever-type video, too.

New Spanish single by Shakira out today! I'm assuming she's working on a Spanish or Spanglish album at the moment.

Also a recent Shakira release:

It's all very uninspired. As if she accepted gave up on being creative musically.
