The song is ok, but definitely her weakest lead single. 'I Kissed A Girl', 'California Gurls' and 'Roar' are on a really higher level than this new one.

Despite liking it, I'm not sure the song would've even really been a potential single if it had been included on 'Prism'.

I didn't like him either.

It's very good, but I had higher expectations. I found the beat a bit repetitive after a while. I can't wait to see what the album will bring us.

Yeah I saw a bit of that video but I was like WTF am I watching and went and bought the song to listen to instead of watching it. I hope the real video will be better, more of something along the teaser.

Instant love. Love the disco/reggae infusion.

It's a very clever song. She's wrapped an important and relevant message into a song that is easy to digest.

The lyric video has meaning, it's inspired by George Orwell's 1984.

I liked it on the first listen, loved it by the 4th listen.
I agree with Dom though the song didn't need to have a feature but still the song is great.

I gotta say the song has grown on me quite a lot over these few days and now I love it. I still think it's her "weakest" lead single, but it's a good one.

Katy Perry made jokes about Britney's mental health at the Grammy's, not once but twice. She's over, pass it on

The song is good enough in places (good bits and bad bits to the song) to be a hit, and Katy will hustle to promote it so she will make sure it is. The bubble line though is like something a 5 year old would write.

She didn't say anything we wouldn't say on private with our friends. In fact, I've made jokes about my own anxiety issues and compared myself to Britney, making jokes of her too a lot, and I can guarantee I would never really laugh at Britney's mental health. The only difference is that my jokes aren't published all over the internet.

It's not like she deliberately and intentionally laughed at Britney's mental health or what she went through. She just used an "iconic mental break down" to compare to her own mental health.

Maybe it wasn't the best joke to make on a public display, but it wasn't the big deal some people are claiming it to be.

People are way over too sensitive nowadays.

the first time she said it was a joke, but repeating it second time made it tasteless imo

She has been doing this for years and it's not funny. She's delibrately made this comparison SIX times in various interviews now. https://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/why-is- ... exyz1MpoG2

It's not about being over sensitive - it's about not being a shitty person and she clearly is.

Political correctness is sucking the fun out of the Internet. Her new song's awesome, great vibe, great messsage.
