Lucky Day is my fave, followed by Beat of My Drum and then Take a Bite. Not a single track I dislike on the whole album though, easily the best GA solo effort for me.

I would really like a new Nicola Roberts album.
I can't understand why Cinderella's Eyes flopped so hard its a great piece of work. I'm guessing for a lot of people it was her voice as everyone I've played it for has said why on earth is she singing like that...

^ Because image is very important nowadays. Nicola and Kimberly are just not interesting enough to people. If Cheryl released 'Cinderella's Eyes' it would have sold as much as her usual albums.

Mel C's 'The Sea' is almost as good as NS but the same people that bought NS back in the day don't care about her anymore so didn't buy it.

It really isn't, it is better than her other albums bar NS but it still has half a tracklisting full of filler.

Beat Of My Drum as the first single surely didn't help.

Its the worst song on that album by a mile imo

I'd have done it like

1st Single - Yo-Yo or Cinderellas Eyes
2nd Single (album launcher) - Gladiator
Album
3rd Single - Porcelain Heart (B Side to BOMD? I think not)
4th Single - Lucky Day or Sticks + Stones

! Beat Of My Drum is by far my favourite on there, followed by Take A Bite. Tbh I don't think any of the other songs would have been any more appealing to the public. If they didn't like the BOMD vocals then they most likely weren't going to like anything else on there. I'd actually say that BOMD is a bit less on the "quirky unusual vocals" than a lot of the other tracks.

"Beat Of My Drum" must've been good enough if Madonna decided to rip it off.

I loved it when it came out, although it's a little messy/noisy. The whole album's very good, "Lucky Day" and "Say It Out Loud" are my faves. But yeah nowadays it isn't about the quality or the talent, it's about the hype, the momentum and the payola.

I also agree that "Porcelain Heart" shouldn't have been a b-side.
