Alesha Dixon must be a bit miffed that Drummer Boy never took off in the same way as this

Actually I love this song after multiple spins and the 'live' performances are really good. I actually love the dance moves. Pretty good! I also like "Drummer Boy" dance moves too.

Performing her new single 'Elephant'.

It hasn't been sent to radio yet, so there's no studio version yet. There is a remix though.

Gotta admit I'm not heavily into the song or video, and I was a big fan of Alexandra for her first album era. This direction is quite cheap and kind of faceless.

Maybe it'll grow on me, but it's already been at month lol.

I think the video is ok, it could've been better.
And the song in HQ sounds a bit flat.

It's also quite weird the way it ends abruptly without a proper outro.

I think the song is a good dance song, she kinda lost me with the dire Start without You after the fabulous All Night Long but to me she is back on track with this song. I love her whispery vocals.

I prefer Start Without You. Unashamedly pure pop, rather than dance-by-numbers. It also spent two weeks at #1, something I don't think Elephant will achieve.

I'd have preferred a Pop/R&B direction for Alexandra. Hope Elephant is the only song of its kind on the forthcoming album. If there is more dance, it's got to have more about it than this song.

Start Without You is an abomination when sober but drunk on the dancefloor, you'll always find me drip dropping way down low.

I met her in Taiwan last year and she is probably the sweetest celeb I have ever met.

She even told me she had read my tweets - sooo nice and attentive to her fans!

Apparently she's at #2 in the UK midweeks!
Seems like it's a big achievement, since radios aren't supporting this much.

Oh God, undeserved. I don't want her to continue making music like this. :hmm: This could be by anyone.

My problem is with the song more than her. I wish her the best, but this is cheap. 'Bad Boys' and 'All Night Long' are 100 times better than this faceless "All Around The World record label" style of song.

Why does shite music do well over here? Elephant is not a good song. It just isn't. It's not an Alex song. It's just 'a song'.
