the high school that she went to is a two minute walk away from my house, but people here don't seem to like her generally as much as overseas. they claim she forgets where she came from.

i havent listened to any full albums of hers, just singles. and ive liked most of them to be honest. the one with swollen members was catchy.

I love 'Promiscuous Girl'! 'Maneater' is really good too, but I like 'I Am' the best. It's too bad it's not gonna be a single. I am really looking forward to her album.

was it a very weird funky beat? i was shocked when i read on the radio screen that that was nelly furtado... she was just making some noise... hahaha i loved it

yeah. she did a performance of it a few years ago. i can't remember where. she was making a sound over and over again like...'ahhh ahhh ahhhh ahhh' or something. never actually singing.

I'm quite impressed with all three of the songs on first listen. I like "Maneater" and Timbaland did his thing. I like the chorus to "Promiscuous Girl" and I love the piano in "I AM".

thats why I said 'they'. ive asked the same thing to someone whos bitching about it. but because shes a canadian citizen and grew up here and yadda yadda they figure its home. most canadian artists once they 'make it' to a certain point kinda float away from here and then the general public on whole gets pissy.

I was much more into Whoa Nelly than Folklore, but i cant wait for the new album, hoping it will be a good pop record, which we didnt get in ages. For now leaked songs are promising that...

She has portugese origin, she was born in Canada.

I've heard the 3 leaked tracks and really loved them. Now I have high expectations for the new album. These 3 songs were just so good. I couldn't feel Folklore much but I'm glad this album is different.
