You clearly have no taste :p
And then we kiss/Before the goodbye/Mona Lise/Early morning/Showdown/Shadow/Everytime/Someday/Scary are all good

OK. So Dear Diary, Everytime, Someday, Brave New Girl are pretty OK-ish. But it still doesn't take away the fact that Cinderella is the best one. :p

britney writes like a 13-year-old, cant really sing, and doesnt really try..
Rhianna can at least sing a little, so she is saved.

Why does britney always have to invade good quality threads????

Someone like you remains as the best song on 21 for me.

But I freaking love Don't You Remember, Turning Tables and Set Fire to the Rain too.

the fact that I once liked this kind of music (and still cherish this past I have, and am proud of it) does NOT by any means represent an invalidation of any critical comments I may emit regarding this matter artists that haven't grown up both musically and artistically!

I'm so happy for her success. It's nice to see that someone who doesn't prance around half-naked and sings about sex in every other song can do well.

Adele

Postby Madrigal » 29 Jun 2012, 19:41

Forgive me if there's already a topic for her. I tried searching and I couldn't find any, other than Spice-related topics.

So, not only is she a top selling artist... SHE'S GOING TO HAVE A BABY!

http://www.adele.tv/blog/424/i-ve-got-some-news

So excited for her!

Noooooo, babies ruin everything :( Why can't popstars devote their 20s to their career and later have a family. :(

I guess that means we won't see another album soon. And if we do she probably won't tour much and won't do so much promo cause she'll want to be home with her baby :(

Totally agree. I think Beyonce and Girls Aloud have done the right thing. Beyonce waited till 30 before she fell pregnant. It's also Girls Aloud's 10 year anniversary next month and none of them have been pregnant yet. Good role models for other artists if you ask me.

Most popstars wanted this more than anything in the world. Getting there is hard. Staying there is harder as you know. Someone like Adele who is just starting and is on top right now should milk it while people still care - at least 1-2 more albums and then have a family.

It doesn't last long for any popstar (except Madonna and Britney). If I were one I'd just take full advantage and wait with the kids a bit

That's what worries me - it seems unplanned (cause it's too soon). I just don't like her guy. If it's really love then fine. But he gave me a weird vibe when I saw him on TV once. I don't like the idea he appeared right when she was on top of the world. I hope they know each other well and that she's fully over whoever-her-album-was-about and they really love each other. :hmm:
