I found curious that there was not a topic about Robyn but I guess some of you might think "Robyn who?" (a bit like mel c in spiceworld "D'you know him?")

Well here's a nice copy and paste from wikipedia to give you basic info:

Robin Miriam Carlsson (born 12 June 1979), better known by her stage name Robyn, is a Swedish recording artist.
Robyn became known in the late nineties for her worldwide dance-pop hit "Do You Know (What It Takes)" from her debut album Robyn Is Here (1997).
The popularity of her U.K. #1 song "With Every Heartbeat" and subsequent international album release Robyn (2005)
in 2007 brought her mainstream success worldwide.
Robyn released the first of a trilogy of albums to be released over the course of 2010 titled Body Talk Pt. 1,
in June of that year, peaking at number one. It was her first album since Robyn.
The album's lead single "Dancing on My Own" was released a few weeks prior to the album's release;
it became a hit single worldwide and brought her a Grammy Award nomination for the category of Best Dance Recording in 2011.
A follow-up album, Body Talk Pt. 2, was released on 6 September, entering straight at number one on the Swedish chart,
and the final album of the trilogy, Body Talk, was released on 22 November 2010 with lead single "Indestructible". "
Call Your Girlfriend" was the second single to be released from Body Talk.

I was just listening to "Body Talk" yesterday, nearly forgot how much I love Time Machine.

I think she's supposed to be working on a new album this year (?)

She's fucking great. Body Talk and her 2007 album are some of the finest pop music I've ever heard.

I think it's the only Pop act I can say 100% I like nowadays.
Her music is very well produced since she's with her own label.
Then I like her personality, or at least what I can see of it.
She seems to be very sweet, spontaneus and emotional.

Have you seen this performance? Ok vocally compared to the original is not that great but still acceptable
and you can see she's really into it and excited about performing it in front of Bjork. (that in the end seem very pleased)

Yes as far as I know she's working on a new album,
can't wait to listen to some new tracks

ROBYN is amazing!!!! :music: :music:

Saw her at least 6 times live - each time she was in Germany since she released her Robyn Album; plus once as the opening act for Madonna and we drove all the way to Brussel to see her live (cause during the first tour for Body Talk she didnt make it to Germany) :) :)

I cant wait to hear her new Album :)

and I´m waiting for an official live DVD - I´m tired of doing them on my own ;)

She has gone from a bubble gum pop artist to a serious pop music artist :p

I love most of her singles and have a few albums and also saw her live in Berlin a few years ago. She's great!

Well I had that first cassette on repeat in the 90's...but that was at least partly because of her name :p haven't really followed her career to be honest, but I tend to like songs that I hear of hers.

No.. only some back vocals. Britney has her own solo stems on the chorus
