^ It's funny they call them that while most of the time they talk about the Spice Girls as "one of the biggest girl bands ever" :despise:

I've noticed that recently they've been specifying that they are the "biggest female R&B group ever", which I took as admitting that the Spice Girls are bigger. With that, it's always possible that certain presenters don't quite have their information correct.

I know that TLC sold more records than destiny's child.

but not sure about spice girls.

I always thought that TLC have always sold the most records than any other girl group?

Movie was great!! I never knew they had been through SO much crap! Lil Mama completely blew me away. She completely transformed herself into Lisa, that's all I saw. I didn't see one ounce of Lil Mama. All the girls did each member justice.

I wanted to kill Pebbles for fucking with their (non-existent) money. And Rav4's, REALLY?! You were married to LA Reid and you couldn't buy the girls BMW's at least?! She certainly learned how to mess with artists from him (he messed with Toni Braxton too, she wouldn't see profit unless she albums sold 5x platinum in the US, reason being she went bankrupt).

Loved the movie, it was really intreguing to see all the stuff that happened to them. I think they all did a fabulous job portraying each of the members, Lil Mama was so good as Lisa. Hate Pebbles for what she did, overall it was a great movie.

The ending with Lisa looking into the waterfall before it went black was sooooooo powerful. At least to me.
I mean, I knew what was coming, but both times I have watched I have gotten emotional at that part.

It really was fantastic!
If anything, this makes me yearn even more for a Spice Girls biopic!

I don't believe you can purchase it, but I do know there are several download/streaming links up now. Just do a quick google search and I'm sure they'll pop up :)

Will VH1 show the film on their UK channel? I'd love to see it.

Also, what are your thoughts on TLC20 and Meant to Be? What happened to Posh Life? I want a new TLC album!!

TLC20 was released as the "soundtrack" to accompany the movie. Posh Life and all the other songs they are working on will be released on an album full of new material :)

I finally watched it. But I didn't understand one thing: wasn't Pebbles just their manager? Isn't their contract with the record label? How come once they fired her they found a new guy and suddenly they could make money? Isn't the contract with the label still on no matter if they have a new manager?

I was never aware of T's illness. And Lil Mama was so good as Lisa, I totally forgot I'm watching someone else. It felt like it's really Lisa the whole time. Great cast!
