I watched it last night. Absolutely fantastic movie! Especially the scene in the record company offices!

How come once they fired her they found a new guy and suddenly they could make money? Isn't the contract with the label still on no matter if they have a new manager?

I was never aware of T's illness. And Lil Mama was so good as Lisa, I totally forgot I'm watching someone else. It felt like it's really Lisa the whole time. Great cast!

If I'm not mistaken, their initial contract was with Pebbles' branch of the record label. What they didn't show is that they sued the record label saying they wanted to renegotiate their contract once they realized they weren't making any money. Pebbles and LA counter sued saying they weren't really broke. In the end, they got to re do their contract and they hired Bill. That situation wasn't exactly accurate for the movie.

Great movie!

Not incredibly accurate, but very entertaining and the cast was fantastic!

I. Cannot. Believe. They weren't allowed to use the original songs for the movie!! I knew something sounded weird about creep, and then when no scrubs came on I was 100% positive that was not the song that was recorded in 1998.

Man, their contracts have them by the necks still! However, they made it sound 90% just like the original! The best one could do to re-create a pop song 20 years later in my opinion...

Does anyone know if the Fanmail Tour will be released on DVD??

They can use most of their tracks now bar ATPTB their first single because of the different publisher, they signed back with LaFace Records and LA Reid so they have access to their original songs but during the time they filmed the movie they didn't have the tracks hence why they could only use Left Eye's vocals twice with WAYF and Waterfalls.

Hopefully they can use them because if they can't use Left Eye's raps for songs like Waterfalls and No Scrubs then it won't feel right, even though she's not here most people love her raps so it would be okay but for me I wouldn't like it... however for the new material they record no more adding old left eye raps because it's just not gonna work anymore.

Lil mama is a much better performer than the other 2.

Lil Mama needs to stop doing Lisa's rap nobody wants to see that they need to either play Lisa's recording or skip it.

It was kind of odd/chilling seeing 3 of them on stage. I would blur my vision a little and I could see Lisa with them. They did a good job. My only complaint is the music playing during Lil Mama's rap.

Great performance but I wish it had been a different TLC classic so Chilli could have had a moment to shine, though she looked fantastic!

has lil mama joined to group now or something, I mean no disrespect but she's with them constantly. It was ok to have her perform with them once or twice to honour Lisa but having her there constantly just because she played Lisa in a movie isn't right. And its gonna irk the fans a lot!

And her rapping doesn't hold a big torch to Lisa's!

I personally don't mind Lil Mama performing with the girls. I've always been a fan but in my opinion with the amount of performances they've been doing, they can't get by relying on old hits and NOT having a third member around. I'm constantly reading YouTube comments saying that Lisa's vocals should just be playback for her rap solos. I don't know if that will necessarily work out the way people think it would. And it's not like Lil Mama is really shoving herself to the front, but she does have experience and skills, and she did seem to get positive response for her portrayal of Lisa in CrazySexyCool. I'm not saying Lil Mama should replace Lisa permanently, but I do somewhat understand why it works out this way while they are doing TV promotion (sort of) for the 20 album.

I'm not a big fan of Lil Mama being somewhat part of the group, to be honest, I didn't really like the way she did Lisa's rap at the AMAs and she didn't even sing her rap during "No Scrubs", why was she even there? :dizzy: And is there any particular reason why they never seem to sing live? I haven't watched many performances by them, but I've been watching all the latest ones and they're always mimed.

Still it's good to see them performing so much lately, I love their music.

They do have a bit of history for miming Javi and using a lot of pre-recorded vocals. It's a shame, although T-Boz isn't the strongest live vocalist.

I've heard rumblings that Lil Mama will continue with the group, and all these performances are softly introducing her as a member without outright saying it! Hope that this isn't the case though but I do hope this new album/material sees the light. I'm always wary with new projects from these girls coming to fruition. Ill always feel disappointed we never got Chilli's solo album!

I have never even heard them singing live before! T-Boz owns my favourite voice in TLC actually.

It's strange seeing them with Lil Mama. There's almost a 20 year age gap between them and her.

I loved the NS performance. I doubt Lil Mama has joined the band, but they definitely are using her to boost the movie and soundtrack.

Thanks for the videos, Cheer!

I have to agree with Sam, T-Boz isn't really that good live. The VMAs performance was great though, their dancing looks extremely dated now, but I still love it
