Thank god she hasn't gone for a bad one now then flitted back and forth between campaigns :p

The Saturdays? :D

-------

Elephant's chart run - I haven't followed the charts all that closely recently, so I was quite shocked to see that it's already out of the Top 100 - it suffered a massive 58 place drop this week: [3-12-18-24-29-47-105]. 6 weeks in the Top 100 for a Top 3 hit is quite awful. Total sales so far are only 115,000.

Her singles sales:

1,220,000 - Hallelujah (#1)
730,000 - Bad Boys (#1)
310,000 - Broken Heels (#8)
285,000 - All Night Long (#4)
265,000 - Start Without You (#1)
115,000 - Elephant (#3)
61,000 - The Silence (#16)

Lol that her #8 peaking single 'Broken Heels' sold more than her two-weeks-at-#1-hit 'Start Without You'.

Her debut album 'Overcome' has sold around 800,000.

I really like the album cover. The picture is fantastic! I think I may give this a listen, I like some of her songs, I'm sure all enjoy some from the new album

We are going to the album listening party on 30th May - just won some tickets. Should be fun. I'm liking the new song.

I still believe her best song is The Silence.

'Elephant' probably won't even reach 200k at this rate.
'All Fired Up' for example was already over 160k in its sixth week, and it sold a bit more than 200k.

Love the new single! I jjust heard it for the first time today and thought it was great! Much better than Elephant which I also enjoyed, but Let It Go is an awesome song imo!

I really love Elephant, wish it had performed better saleswise.

Let It Go however is perfect dance-pop

Album Sampler much more Dance-Pop than I thought it would be, looking forward to it personally though the ballad at the end doesn't really fit at all

*Sigh* I'll reserve full judgement until I've heard the whole album. The previews are forgettable & not one of them sparks my interest.

Alexandra's bombing. 'Let It Go' is currently only #35 on iTunes.

New releases by Lawson & Rudimental are already #7 and #8 respectively on iTunes.

That's a shame.
It's a good song. I'm tempted to get her album when it comes out, but she'll probably re-release it like Overcome, and I don't particularly want to waste my money, as I don't have too much atm!

Had a feeling she would bomb with it unfortunately.

I expect the album will probaly flop too, still at least we fans will have it to enjoy.

Ouch! Sucks the song is not doing well at all because I really like it. I hope she gets out there and does some promo for it otherwise it probably won't start to do any better

At 19 in the midweeks. It's already falling on iTunes, so expect a top 30 entry for her at best.

Ouch.

Oh god such a good song doesn't deserve to potentially miss the Top 30

She performed an acoustic version on Loose Women today (it was beautiful) I hope that helps stabilise it a bit.

I'm worried about the album though :(

^ I wouldn't be too worried. Last week's number 1 sold 13k, and I'm assuming she'll sell more than that at least so I'm expecting number 1.. I mean Overcome sold 131,000 in its first week - so surely she can't lose over 100,00 sales?!
