:D

==========================================================================================

(I don't have It's Only Rock 'N' Roll unfortunately, but do we count that towards the Spice Girls, when it's a Various Artists record?)

Anyway, I think it's fantastic when you look and see that with all their projects combined, they contributed over 20m sales to the UK music industry.

For God's sake, they have sold more than 20 million records just in the UK, i think it's pretty mind-blowing. Ok, they've released many albums and many singles, but still!

That's brilliant that they sold so much just within the UK. And Headlines at 39! I was expecting worse, but when you look at it compared to the solo stuff, it doesnt look that bad.

And Emma is the only solo Spice to have sold more with her sophomore album than her debut album. It's really sad to see how Melanie C and Geri have fallen.

Geri and Melanie Cs total UK sales as solo artists are really awesome for ex members of a band. I doubt many other ex girlband or boyband members could say they sold that much bar the likes of Beyonce

Forever and the GH did pretty shit really didnt they!
I suppose on the back of one single then its ok, but this is Spice Girls you'd expect double that on the back of one single, if the GH gets 400,000 then i think thats good but really i am dissapointed with those!
Really shows they were a phenonemon for the time alone!

I think for the calibre of hits on the GH, it didn't do well as it probably deserved. When it comes to the way the project was handled though, I think the sales are a miracle really! I'd never really dismiss a 300k+ seller as shit tbh, it's still Platinum.

Forever was a pretty poor show, but then it only had one single out before it and sold the majority of that in just two months (November/December 2000). With a couple more singles, who knows what it'd have ended with!

I am sure 20k would be sold if they did a one-off show, hardly needs a miracle. Even a publicised re-release with more bonuses would probably shift 20k to get it up to 400k.

a re-release with a bonus DVD with tour footage, or another new song would make them sell those 20,000 albums. hehe

but I see more possible that Holler reaches the 250k mark, it only needs 20 downloads to get it.

Looking at those sales figures it's pretty amazing how much they sold with just 3 albums and an active band-life of 4 years.

It would be amazing to get this kind of info but on a worldwide scale.
