Hi guys,
I am currently marking exam papers and recording results in Excel. I have formulas set up to work out percentages etc, but want to insert a formula to determine what level each paper has achieved (for example, if students scored less than 11 marks = level 3, between 11 & 30 = level 4, over 24 = level 5 etc). I have attempted to use the 'If' function (with no success!) but cant work out to do it.
Can anyone help?
Muchos thanks!

Re: Excel help!
Sorry, only just seen this.
I use spreadsheets to convert raw marks to grades/levels ALL the time. I think the best way to do it is to create a table as use VLOOKUP (or HLOOKUP, for that matter)
