Exactly. She's a Spice Girl. She obviously isn't getting requests by A-list acts, but she probably gets a lot of requests by new acts, random acts and some has been a or moderate acts that would be interested in working with her. Have you ever heard about doing a collaboration with someone because you might like it or, maybe, just maybe, because you friend who happens to be a producer whom you have worked with before and you have a good relationship with, asks you to do it and you might go 'yeah, cool I can do that?!'?
Maybe, just maybe, she just wanted to do that collaboration. Was it to your taste? Clearly not. Does it mean she shouldn't have done it? NO.
Sometimes artists collaborate with other artists just because of circumstance, rather than because they think it will be successful or fruitful or even 'good'.
