Northern Star is obviously a masterpiece but as I have overplayed it, it's my least listened to album these days and has been for a long time.

I enjoy Reason, some good tracks, some not so good (in my opinion!) - however it's not an album I listen to much either

Beautiful Infentions is my ultimate favourite and I don't think any of them come close. That album speaks to me, literally.

This Time, is my least favourite out of all that have been released.

STAGES, I funnily enough really like, and listen to.

The Sea, incredible.

Version of Me, I also love. I just don't feel it's as electronic as she makes it out to be, doesn't mean it's a bad album, just means I don't really understand where she was wanting to go with it.

I think that's exactly how I feel with each album. I like them all. Some more than others. I don't think any of them are bad. Just some better than others

As much as I respect Mel C and although she is my favorite singer out of the five girls, because what she has done has been done with dignity and with talent and not some cheap anti-SG tricks or very poor covers and overly sexualized (I Want Candy is a huge exception here), I have to say there is not one album from her that I enjoy from the beginning to the end. VoM comes close but not quite. Northern Star is her best one, of course, but the styles vary too much. Like so many other pop artists who gain a solid fanbase after releasing some dance/pop music that shows off their vocals, she also abandoned the genre and went pop/rock instead. Very similarly to Pink. When you do that, you lose half of your casual fans. And let's face it, most pop-rock is really boring to listen to, and they all sound the same, because the singers don't really have to sing as much as they would on a dance record. I expected a lot of VoM but it didnt deliver. I like Something for the Fire, Room for Love, Anymore and Numb.

I'm not gonna say Mel is a single, not an album artist. Cause that's very obviously Geri. But just as a general advice, I would keep the style and theme of the album the same, so it flows through organically, instead of putting too many different genre songs on it. You can mix genres in a song, but don't make the album sound like a best of.

Look at Madonna. She is still able to pull off number one albums cause her musical style hasnt changed. She experiments within the dance genre but she knows thats what the fans want and why they stick around, so any rock is also electronic, and not a single. She might be many things, but she's also smart as hell when it comes to selling albums. Listen to your fans.

Just my opinion, and I might be a bit harsh but it is only cause I actually give a damn.

Ok, Northern Star is a special one as it's a good album to debut with...different styles...etc

For me, after the 1st, the best albums are The Sea and Version of Me .

By the way, anyone knows how Many copies has she sold of VOM? Thanks!

"'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
'How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
'You must be,' said the Cat, 'or you wouldn't have come here.'"
