How Erick wrote it is exactly how it was. Melanie signed our cds and we all (including Melanie) got told off. She snapped back at him. So Erick's comment wasn't bizarre

That's right. The man who was given the lanyard told us that, and if you do that or ask for something to sign, you will be escorted to the door.
But it was the opposite. She didn't sign anything for us, but she got our gifts and was very cute and polite.

To berlin in the meet and greet, it was the opposite. The man who was given the lanyard just told us not to use our phone during the sound check and after we could use our phone with melanie c because there was no professional photographer to take the pictures.
We had the right to use our phone to make sefies, hugs and to make her sign all that was vowed.
I'm glad I did not come for the UK tour, I will have been disappointed for the meet and greet.

The VIP experience in Germany was much more chilled indeed and she also performed 4 songs instead of just 2 during the soundcheck. The UK is a joke when it comes to these things, so many rules and stupid security measures, they really need to take a chill pill.

Yeah she was so nice. Me and Craig were told by the photographer...

"Cuz there are 2 of you I'll let you in together but it's either a photo together or singly" "no hugging. No kissing. No signing"

When we went in Melanie said "hiiii you 2 have been together for a while now haven't you?" So we told her nearly 6 years and she said "ahh yeah that's right" told her about how we actually met then she said "let's get some photos then chat after, we'll get one together then do one seperately" which was so nice as it saved us having to ask lol.

Then we told her we were getting married. She asked when it was. Craig joked and said "you can come if you want" she asked when it was so I said "July 14th... the day after your gig with All Saints" she said "ooh I might be a bit hungover that day. But if you don't ask you don't get"

Then we gave her 2 copies of the deluxe Version Of Me and asked if she would sign them. She said "of course no problem" she signed the first one then the photographer said "I TOLD YOU ALL NO SIGNING!" and Melanie snapped at him and said "OH WELL IT'S DONE NOW" Cuz of that though it ended up being signed as MelaC still nice though.

The photographer was really rude. I couldn't believe he was treating fans like that but he was also being like it to Melanie

BTW, has anyone asked her about her future plans? Will there be any more from VOM? Do you know?

She mentioned a couple of times about following this up with a new album soon (well, sooner than in the past at least...).

Does anybody know more?

I know what you mean by the way the VIP host was. When i got checked in and given the lanyard, he explained all of the rules and what not, and I walked away thinking 'Well, what can I do then?!'
I must admit, I did follow the rules of not getting anything signed, I didn't want the man to not take my picture with Melanie! I loved my time with her though A good couple of minutes to chat and get your picture. The first thing Melanie did in my Meet and Greet was put her arms around me, which I basically told NOT to do beforehand.

I've used the company before with my Meet and Greets with Beverley Knight, Caro Emerald and All Saints, and I have got another with Beverley Knight to come.

I did the Caro Emerald one the other day and despite being the same company (with a different host) the atmosphere was so much more relaxed. For cheaper than the total of Melanie C's package, you got a drink on arrival, crowd free shopping, Caro to personally sign one item, photo, ticket in the first three rows, VIP lanyard, VIP gift (which was an UMBRELLA!!) as well as your Meet and Greet. The lady who does the Caro tours is SO lovely, and puts you at ease. She does go through the rules, but it was nowhere near the regimented ones that the man at Melanie C seemed to be. He made it as if Melanie C was SO stuck up and made her out to be someone completely different She was unbelievably nice and was genuinely interested in you as a person and took the time to speak to you.

That said, I do feel that the package of Melanie C was worth it and I do think these VIP packages are worth the money, You do get a lovely professional photo and the chance to meet the people you look up to.
Maybe Melanie was a bit frustrated by the man as well in the particular encounters mentioned above. I have a funny feeling that if she were to do this thing again the man might not be a part of the tour!

I can only speak on my behalf and I might be entirely wrong but I thought the whole VIP experience was standard. They are a company that I guess have the same rules for everyone, all artists, and Melanie knows how to put people at ease so I don't think it makes her look bad at all - I was within the first five to see her in glasgow (her first show) and she instantly hugged me, I joked we weren't allowed to touch her, she rolled her eyes and laughed, I was VIP in London too, exact same set up, and process, but Melanie broke the rules and made sure everyone got what they wanted. Nobody had been rude to me, and everyone was pretty aware Melanie hadn't made these decisions herself
