Just back from the Berlin concert.
Her vocals were on spot but cannot say the same about the mixing that I felt was pretty messy here and there.
Alex Francis has a beautiful voice. His music is not my cup of tea but I wish people in the audience were more respectful instead of talking outloud during his opening perfomance. :despise:

She skipped "Loving You Better" to perform "First Day Of My Life"... she could have skipped the cover instead but I'm happy about the overall experience.

This.

It was the same for the shows I saw - people were downright rude, it felt so awkward.

So she didn't sing HICA, NBS or WYG?

She sang When You're Gone during the soundcheck, but only to the VIP spectators.
Other than that, she performed First Day of My Life, History and Version of Me during her soundcheck!

^^ It's probably her best tour, actually. My friend had never seen her in concert before and she was very impressed last night in Berlin. The new sound is fantastic live and her vocals are on point.

Some videos I took:

Great concert in Berlin. The Columbia Theater was full.
We were about twenty people for the sound check and the meet and greet.
We were offered a tattoo and a vip pass.
"When You're Gone" was sung with the blond guitarist during the sound check, he has the same voice as Bryan Adams.
Melanie C was nice with me in the meet & greet. She said: Bonjour! Comment ça va?
I asked her about melanie b, she replied that she was fine.
I asked her why she no longer sang "On The Horizon"? We started laughing...
She signed all my CDs (Northern Star, Reason, Beautiful Intentions (French & UK version), This Time, Stages, The Sea, Version Of Me (German Version).
After the picture, she said: "Aurevoir mon ami"!
I will not use my pen with which she signed my cds, I will keep it in memory lol

She dedicated the song northern star to the city of berlin.
She was very communicative with the public and even made a joke on her shoes and stinking feet.
She thanked all the people who came from very far to see her in berlin.
People behind me were nasty with Alex Francis :(

The songs of "Version Of Me" sound better in live.

The show on Monday was superb! I love her live performances. Absolutely worth the drive back and forth from Prague.

I just wish she has chosen other song than Loving You Better to exchange for FDOML. I mean I could live without FDOML but kinda expected this one when in Germany, but whyyyyyy missing my favourite track on the album. It's same as when I was in Vienna for The Sea show and she played the whole album except for Beautiful Mind :D

I really REALLY hope Melanie won't skip Loving You Better in ZURICH.
It's my favourite song from VOM and it really reminds of this city – and I'm SO glad she's playing here now. I spent the autumn here and VOM was my soundtrack for that period. :music:

There were some rude people yesterday in Koln. Sheezus! A stupid girl screaming all the time with a horrible and noisy voice! Even Melanie was kind of nervous about it. During the show she said (making reference to that stupid screaming girl) to scream during the breaks not during the songs!!! THAT GIRL WAS REALLY ANNOYING. EVEN WHEN ALEX WAS ON THE STAGE.

The other aspect I realize... Cologne show was my sixth in this tour and it was the worst one. Not because of her, but the audience was not the best. All my respect for the people and for the city, I am just saying about my feeling about all the gigs I've seen so far and still more to come.

If anyone here will attend Hamburg, Frankfurt and Stuttgart come to say hi! I'm horrible with names and recognizing faces! lol!

I really hope that in Offenbach we have an AMAZING NIGHT!

Yesterday? Hum... maybe 600/700 people... more than around 500 that we had in Berlin I guess. At least the queue was really bigger than in Berlin! and the venue was also bigger!

i'm curious about how many fans we'll be there on monday, compared to cologne, i would always guess less, since the region around cologne, all theses huge cities = more fans. we'll see. at least 500 glow sticks seem to be a good number so far xD
