Same here, but as long as we get singles I'll be happy.
Well, time for a physical single :dee:

Exactly... This is the first time ever since I became a fan of hers that I'm not excited for a music video or live performance of her new single...

I do like the radio edit & is a nice Spring release. I think R2 will love this track.

Agree about artwork. 'Anymore' & 'Dear Life' were cool but not a fan of the look for 'Hold On'.

I don't think she's planning a video.
The company should wait till April...imo.

It might have to do with "focus groups" - Melanie C is seen as uncool, so avoid having a picture of her on it might get people to pick it up easier.

What's different on the Radio Edit? It's not like the album version was too long.

Agreed! it's the whole package of the product and it wouldn't cost 10 pounds to do a nice design.

Well the Reason era was very simple too. Her album and single covers were a photoshoot but very stripped down (which I actually do like). This is like SIMPLE simple though.

can anyone tell me about the feweconds that the radio edit is shorter than the album version?
I think it is very funny that currently "Hold On" as single is available not in G/S/A :D. I'd buy it, but I can't xD
Maybe it is a single release for all fans who could not buy the german album release and therefore who could also not get the track as download.

This is a million times better than the TV performance. Melanie sounded great. He is AWFUL live though. He sounds like he's on drugs and can hardly sing. He's ruined 2 performances doing that. I'm glad it sounds good on the studio version

Because neither artist has made the UK Top 100 singles chart ever since. Both of them also released singles prior to 'Loving You' which failed to chart Top 100. So the fact that they got a #14 hit together can be considered as being a fluke for both artists. An unlikely chance occurrence, especially a surprising piece of luck.

I can't hear any difference between album and single versions. Only more silence seconds.

I thought it was just me, I couldn't even understand half of what he was singing in that video. He isn't good looking, I have more twitter followers than him and his performing 'style' is like some random drunk guy. The decision to duet with him and then release it as a single is baffling. I mean I'm sure there were others out there who would have jumped at a duet with Mel who had their own little following too (like Matt Cardle), this is like she has picked some random guy from the pub.

You dared to question Mel's success, well at least someone else can take a bashing from her 5 fans not me for a change :death:

Have people been buying it? I've not. It'd be nice to get some more info. Will there be a proper video? A physical? I don't buy mp3s so I'm not gonna buy this if a physical is planned. If there's no physical planned I might buy it. I've already got the deluxe album though so have the song (yes I'm aware that this is a shorter version)
