So ironic, because if she was a man, would wouldn't be discussing thr "underdressed" thing.

And apart from the bad-timed judging... She's f*cking Sporty Spice. She spent half of her big days wearing tracksuits for photoshoots and performances. Wearing jeans and a bomber jacket would already look overdressed for her usual standards back then.

The thing is, there is no written rule stating men HAVE to wear pants. They're free to wear what they want, but majority would not choose to wear a dress or skirt because it is a societal belief that it's not "manly" and there's the fear of public scrutiny. All it would take is a group of men going out in dresses in allegiance to break that social norm. It's not an injustice, it's ego and fear of being called out.
