Didn't get a chance to send this on Friday, but here's a quick photo of David Beckham officially receiving his ESPY for Best MLS Player at the stadium following the team's training session on Friday. Congrats again!

David Beckham showed his support for a young fan who has been battling an eating disorder by meeting up with him in Los Angeles on his 16th birthday.

Will Kitching was just 14 years old when a coach told him he needed to lose weight, leading the young athlete to drop down to 84 pounds (38 kilograms).

Beckham was moved by Kitching's story and to celebrate his recovery, he invited him out to California to meet him and his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates.

Kitching's dad Gary says, "He was training when we arrived but came straight across. David was brilliant and chatted for ages."

Will adds, "Becks signed my golden boots. It's a birthday I will never forget."

Becks sent the US president a box of around 50 pairs after learning Obama AND wife Michelle were big fans of his underwear range.

The footie ace — who models the pants he designed himself — found out the Obamas were fans after meeting them in Washington earlier this year.

A source close to the White House said yesterday: “David promised to send a box of his undies to the President — and Michelle has insisted that her husband wears them!”

Becks, 37 — whose briefs are part of a range made by H & M — is also a big hit with Obama’s daughter’s Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11.

The girls are big fans of the dad of four and have signed posters of him on their walls. The source added: “Michelle and the kids think he’s a real hunk.
