From reading about it does sound like there might be some unrest in the dressing room. Lots of people getting frustrated by the way they are playing. Also talk about bust ups at half time. Your right about Bruce saying if he had 11 subs, that really must suck for Becks if you are the one removed. If it's about teaching lessons then Bruce doesn't need to teach Beckham any lessons. IMO anyway. Although talk now is that he was removed because of hamstring injury so will see if he trains

Interessting turn. So this sounds for me that, after they have cooled down, try to take the embaressment for him out of it.

Well that is from The Sun newspaper. They say according to sources close to Becks it was hamstring. Think they are the only ones to mention that though.

David Beckham missed Thursday morning's session. He is dealing with a reported hamstring strain.

“David has an assortment of nagging injuries,” Arena said. “Just been smart about getting him the right kind of rest and working him in the gym.”

The exact injuries? Where does the hamstring fit into this?

Asked if he was confident Beckham could play, Arena replied: “Haven't made a decision.” Will he make the trip to Kansas? “Haven't decided.”

I read on another forum apparently Bruce said - David is "not where we need him to be."

Is this true? Seems an odd comment to make seeing as he is supposedly injured?

Yea he probably has an injury. This did seem to bother him last season. Just seems that something is a little off with the team etc. Hard to believe it's La galaxy playing. also sounds like they are 1 nil down at the moment. Confidence will be low just now, they really need a win to give them a boost

He's possibly not where he needs to be fitness wise.

I guess he's at the age now, and has been for the last couple of years, where he's prone to niggling injuries.
