Re: MLS Thread
How is that even possible? How does he run with that thing between his legs? I guess that's why he has never been fast

Clarence Seedorf trains with LA Galaxy
The Galaxy have had a glitzy guest in training this week but despite the speculation and potential excitement, it appears it’s only a visit.
Clarence Seedorf has been training with the defending MLS Cup champs this week but when asked about his potential involvement with the club on a full-time basis, Arena all but shut it down.
“He is just in town, looking to train a little bit,” Arena said.
Arena did not deny that he would enjoy bringing in the longtime AC Milan standout aboard.
“I’d be glad to sign him,” he said, “and if [Lionel] Messi walks through town I would do the same.”
While the potential to bring him aboard seems slight, having had him around for the week has not been just a one-sided experience.
“He’s a good player,” Galaxy captain Landon Donovan said. “You can tell — even though he’s not fully fit — you can tell he knows how to play the game. It’s been fun for the guys and good for some of the young guys to see how he moves.”

Seedorf isn't joining LA Galaxy, he has joined Brazilian side Botafogo on a two-year deal. If anyone's interested.

One of the other players was down on the ground claiming he got hurt. Beckham I think was waiting to take a throw in. He must have thought the guy was time wasting so he's kicked the ball from a distance. Funny how the guy on the ground made a fast recovery and jumped to his feet. Even still silly thing to do and he misses next game. Not the best week for him and topped off with a defeat last night

Do I? Really?
Or do I sound like somebody who's been a fan of his for years, who has joined in with the majority of the nation condemning Stuart Pearce for not picking him. Only for him to step on the football pitch, and just because his team werent winning, acted like a complete petulant idiot. Thus undoing any support and positivity he'd garnered this week.
The man is nearly 40. It's ridiculous.

What's his age got to do with anything? You don't know why he was acting like an idiot maybe something was said to him, he was clearly pissed off at something. You sound like he does this every week. Obviously it's been a tough week for him and is probably still hurting and also frustrated at his own team aswell. He ran his socks off last night and shows still how much it means to him. Players get frustrated and act like idiots all the time just because he is David Beckham doesn't mean he isn't allowed his off days like everyone else

"He/she is allowed to have an off day" must be the most common words in the Victoria and David forums.
