Re: MLS Thread
Why is he staying in LA? I hoped he would get a decent game/match time, since England has qualified

Re: MLS Thread
^Yeah, it sucks for me. I have to know for sure before Monday if he will play or not, because on Monday i'll know to buy tickets or not, to go 20 hours from home or not. I don't want to go if he will not come. Sorry for OT.

They might clinch the playoff spot if they beat Chicago on Friday.

1-0 HT, really closely contested match. Both teams are fighting for a play-off spot.
*edit* FT. Really entertaining match, David played well. They'll clinch a play-off spot if DC lose tomorrow.

If Chivas tie or win against DC United then LA will get a playoff spot. Chivas are pretty strong but I bet they lose knowing our luck. But surely if LA get 1 point in their next 2 matches it would be enough, 45 points and not getting a playoff spot seems ridiculous.

Away to Houston and home to San Jose. It would be nice if they don't have to worry about those 2 matches if Chivas do them a favour tonight.

LA Galaxy are officially in the playoffs, the first time since 2005. He's done everything he set out to do this year, help Milan qualify for the CL and LA to get to the playoffs. It's his most successful year since 2007 winning La Liga.

^^ Actually, I think when he retires and grows older, he will get more and more recognition.
It is a great year for him, I hope he feels happy

Re: MLS Thread
Statistically they seemed to improve when he re-joined them, they earned 20 points in 11 MLS matches with him back in LA, whilst when he was in Milan they got just 23 points in 16 matches. And he scored 2 match winning goals and had a number of assists, so in theory he provided them with 6 points. They might only be on 38 points now had he not returned and they would be really fighting for that playoff spot.

That sucks but if David will be called up you can go outside the stadium and see him when he arrives ! That's at least something

I could, but it's not in my city. I have to travel 20 hours by train to get there, so i won't go just to wait outside the stadium.
