I've been following your progress here, Steph, even when I couldn't post. Since I can now, I wanna say well done on what you've accomplished so far! I hope you take great pride in that. Keep it up! (:

Thanks, Susan. I've been trying! I definitely keep count of my calories daily at a website online (http://www.myfitnesspal.com), it's like Facebook but for fitness. So that way you have accountability and cheerleaders to cheer you on! It's nice. :) It's also nice to get validation here as well. It means a lot!

Okay, TMI time... A fair warning before you read.

Spoiler: show
Lately I've been dealing with sore stomach, irritated bowel, etc. I've always had sever IBS, but sometimes it goes into remission if things are "ok". But I have something called "rapid transit time" which means when I eat, my food digests in 30 min instead of the regular allotted time. Thus making me have to poo more. Anyway, these past few days I've been having stomach aches, I mean really bad stomach aches, and constant diarrhea. But I just deal with it, not much can be done about it other than meds, and I'm already on so many, ugh no thanks. Yesterday was the worst of it... I had blood in my bowels. Consistent bleeding. All day. I had to wear a pad because it'd seep through my panties and leggings. I think it's just a fissure (a tear from straining too hard) because it's red in color and not black, clotted or tar-like. But I've never bled this bad before. I had enough about 2:30 this morning, and decided to Google what to do to make it stop, and a site suggested soaking in hot soap water. And I'm like, "well, I can't do the soap because it messes with my girly parts". So I tried some Epsom salts instead. Which worked wonders and the bleeding is very minimum now.

I've decided if it doesn't come to a complete halt, I'm going to go to the ER. It's making me very light headed and woozy. I'm not sure that there's much that can be done, as I've had them before this bad. They just give me a cream, and it'll go away for awhile but then it comes back time and time again. So maybe they can sew it up? I don't know. I'm not really looking forward to a rectal exam.

If the bleeding DOES stop by Tuesday, I have an appointment for my yearly pelvic exam. I'll just have her (the PA) take a looksee down there and see what she says. If not,t hen I'm going back to my GI specialist.

I've lost 32 lbs since starting MyFitnessPal. And right now Weight Watchers is doing a deal where you join for $1. I think I might do that.
