so some more of an update i'm still trying i found some cheap teas at upton tea that are naturally sweet so i don't have to add sugar and some are green/oolong teas so they also help lower appetite/speed up metabolism, etc. i'm probably gonna try yerba mate soon as well since it's supposed to help with sore muscles after exercise, etc. I'm hoping to lose it naturally if i can, but mom has to go to the hospital a lot to be drained in her stomach (perisentisis?) more and more often, now they say there's a problem with her kidneys causing her potassium issue, and that she'll have to be drained more and more often, until it's eventually every couple of weeks and when she's in hospital it's not the optimum but i'm hoping she stays out of there once she gets out in a couple of days...i spend nights there so i'm about ready to take a nap...also i'm gonna get some whey protein the subscribe and save stuff from amazon that is supposed to help a lot as well with appetite and exercise, etc.

Do you have GNCs where you are? They probably have whey. Also health food stores. I'm not a huge fan of the taste but it is good for appetite and exercise. Sometimes I get it in my smoothies at Starbucks. :p

well i have to go way cheap you can get two buckets (basically 2 months supply for me starting out) for like $14 and it's like worse tasting than even normal whey i hear which is why it's so cheap it's just to suck up because it's good for you lol. But yeah I may look up GNC there used to be a few around here.

well I've done the yerba mate tea, green tea, oolong tea, exercise etc. although I'm limited on how much I can diet and I lost 10 lbs. in 4 months. So I'm proud of myself because it's so hard for me to lose weight. I'm exercising a little harder/longer every couple of weeks and hoping to at least make it 12-14 in the same amount of time next month. My main problem is no longer the insulin resistance as much as it is the male hormones apparently it has a big effect too. I was also able to lower my dose of metformin and hoping to again in a few months. My apt. is towards the end of August.

i'm contemplating on having one, but doctor's advise is that if i do, i might not make it out of the operating room because of the complications.

I'm contemplating gastric sleeve. It's a lot easier on the system than what the bypass would be. The recovery is 8-ish days. I need to do more research into it, but my older sister's bff had it done and she looks great. But she wasn't as big as I am when she had it done. But she lost so much weight she had to get (breast) implants and a lift! lol Hopefully that won't happen to me if I do decide to do it! :p

I know I'm not allowed to say anything due to size zeroness and all, but i doesn't change anything but the size of your stomach and that can actually "stretch back" if you (manage to) keep eating a lot. If you aren't eating a lot normally, it isn't gonna make much of a difference as it only reduces the food intake. This also makes it harder to get the nutrients you need.

Plus the (big) risk of complications that are involved and all the associated unpleasentnesses (the pain, recovery, vomiting and/or a splitting stomach ache if you eat more than two bites) I know people who have had it done, and for some it worked but they are "suffering" every day with the consequences unless they keep themselves fully in check.

I've also heard a doctor explaining the procedure and the risks... I'm very, very glad I don't need one because for me personally it would only be an option if it were a life or death decision.

Can't say what I'd do if I were you though, as I don't know what the problem is and which other things you have tried to solve it.
