Does it annoy you when friends/family call her "Posh"
I know it's what made her famous etc, But it annoys me so much! It's so 90s, So Spice Girls day! I hate it especially as she has made such a name for herself in the fashion world now

Why does it bother you? Posh cars can not be bought by everyone. Still a class for rich people.

I don't think anyone I know calls her Posh, but it annoys me when they call her "Victoria Adams".

Posh is fine by me, she's still posh... As a matter of fact even more than she was in the 90a!
It can annoy me when people call Melanie Sporty though, unless it's related to a triathlon or something, as she's hardly "sporty" at all anymore, except for when she's actually, you know... Sporty
But Victoria... She's Posh to the bone as far as her public image goes so the nickname still suits her IMHO

Not at all Posh made her who she is today and it just goes to show how remembered and iconic the Spice Girls actually are when the general public constantly refer to them by their Spice names.
Just out of interest does it annoy you with the other girls?

She's 'Posh' in David's phone. I like that.

I wish more people would call her Posh or Posh Spice, or even Victoria Adams.
Cause all I hear is always "David Beckham's wife".
Recently I even had the misfortune of encountering somebody who didn't know she was in a big girlband in the '90s and thought she had become famous simply by marrying a famous footballer.
I know most people do know she first was in the Spice Girls, but they generally diminish that role and accredit all her fame to her husband.

^ where have you buried the body?
Seriously though! People'd never say that of a man! While there are plenty men who "married up" but you never hear anyone diss them

Ha! I managed to keep my temper because they went on to admit they heard something about Victoria and the Spice Girls at the Olympics, so I was simply glad that the sensation of the performance had been big enough to be acknowledged even by those poor individuals.

I doesn't bother me. Ahe end of the day its easier and quicker to say Posh rather than Victoria Beckham and people will still know who you're talking anyway I don't see a problem with it.

No, because it's not insulting and she was always proud of her nick name. She is the only one that can own her Spice name until death.

I get annoyed any time anyone refers to them by their nicknames, they're people. I think everyone should just know they're full names and which one is which.

Re: Does it annoy you when friends/family call her "Posh"
^ I make a distinction between them as "people" and them when they're playing up to their stereotypes.
I always call Melanie Melanie, except sometimes when she's doing something very Sporty. Same for Emma and Mel. Geri not so much as there's not really a "very Ginger" thing she does, but for Victoria the Posh thing is almost ALWAYS appropriate so I get why it's used that often.
It'd make no sense to call Melanie Sporty when she's attending a black tie event in a full length gown, or to call Mel Scary when she's on DWTS or whatever... But it makes sense nearly ALL of the time to call Victoria Posh, because her nick may have started out as a stereotype, it's also just who she is.

It annoys me after all many many years when some people think of her , they ONLY refer her as spice girl. I mean, Victoria = Spice Girls , Victoria = Spice Girls. . Shes. more than that. She will be always referred as Posh and i love Posh and i love the Spice Girls but she did so many things her ownand went through so many major things , come on..

It used to, but I do it just so everyone knows who I;m talking about. Same with the other girls...then we graduate to their real names.
YES! Even when I read album credits.
