Emma's audition song

So I'm reading this book about Victoria by Sean Smith, and it really goes into detail on how the Spice Girls met, the auditions and stuff like that.

It tells how Emma was contacted by Pepi Lemer after another girl, Abigail Kis, who left because she had a boyfriend and wanted to keep studying. So Emma was invited for an audition and sang this song, and I had no idea. All these years being a fan and this was news to me. Welcome to 1996!

Michelle Stephenson, Lianne Morgan and Abigail Kis have ALL been part of the group, even if it was only for 2 weeks. Why would you doubt it? The girls didn't mention any of them apart from Michelle because they probably had no impact and lasted too little to be worth a mention.

Pepi Lemer, who contacted Emma, contacted Abigail BEFORE Emma actually. Thank God this girl left!

Yeah I can imagine her singing this song, too, it doesn't sound very different from some of the more r&b numbers she did for her first album.

She wasn't just asked though, she auditioned, impressed the management but lacked the commitment, was a bit too young, had a boyfriend and a place at university. There's quite a few 'Spice Girls that never were' when you think about it.

I'd like to see a picture too, out of curiousity, but she's the one nobody ever really bothered with. There's a quote by her in this book, "I would have loved to be as famous and rich as they are. Everytime I see them I think 'That could have been me'...".

Michelle and Lianne weren't as nice... but then again Victoria was a bitch to Michelle in her book. Lianne on the other hand just sounds bitter.

I have a picture (well, 2) of Abigail in that paper interview that some other member sent me years ago, gabriel_c I think it's his username. But I'm not sure if I can share, I'll ask him (if you are reading this, Gabriel say something!)

He's writing a book or something along the lines about all the girls who auditioned. He's friend with some, like Lianne and Melanie Laccohee.
