I won't open a thread about this because I'm not that self-centred, but I've finally been blocked by Melanie on Twitter! It was about time really, guess opinions aren't what Melanie likes the most.

I know of many other fans who have been blocked, but those people have been regularly writing to her family, or abusing Melanie on Twitter. I have done none of these things, I have only kept on posting pictures, scans and videos in this forum, and I would tag her on Twitter ONLY when I was listening to her music.

What I didn't like about her I shared with other fans here on Denden, but it's not like I would go on and on, and I do it with all the girls. It's sad that they feel they have to keep an eye on everyone here and block whoever thinks Melanie's hair looks shit or Stephen looks like Shrek.

Haha with pleasure! In fact I am not shocked, it was a matter of time, I've been saying too many times that I disagreed with things she was doing and saying. I just find it hard to believe that she might block the few fans she has left on Twitter. In a way it's flattering, after all these years she acknowledges me in a way! To think she was so lovely when I met her in 2002 and now she's blocked me.

I actually only followed her. I stopped following Stephen a long time ago. I don't follow anyone from her family and I don't follow her friends, I have never ever sent her any abuse, I would tag her every now and then to say things like "I'm listening to Hotter and I love it!" but nothing more. Or when I would tweet something about the Spice Girls and tag the rest of the girls as well.

I have written to Danielle and Andrea about a week ago (for the FIRST and LAST time) to tell them I was sorry some Spice fans had to tell them things like "You can go and die for all I'm concerned" and I didn't even mention Melanie once.

I guess they read Denden, and if they don't like what they read, they look for you on Twitter and block you. I don't even care about her tweets, and I have never used Twitter to tell her anything of any interest, which just makes her (or Stephen's) decision look fucking stupid.

I have no idea. Maybe they read something I said on here, saw the username and remembered I've tweeted her every now and then (as I already said, only when talking about the band or when playing some of her solo stuff) and decided to block me.

Maybe they saw me tweeting Danielle about the "You can die" comment and just assumed I was bad-mouthing Melanie without even bothering to read the tweets. Maybe they don't like the fact that some fans are opinionated and they can say what a cunt she is when she acts like she did for the Fabulous interview. But at the same time, I was the one who posted about the new EMI deal, I said she looked fantastic and was excited about the new stuff.

I just don't understand why they're acting like this. I'm not sad because he/she blocked me, I'm just a bit sad and annoyed that she's become the person she has become. I've lost ALL respect for her, especially after reading her latest interviews. She was my favourite Spice Girl up until 2006/2007 and it's a long while now she's actually my least favourite one.
