I thought of making a proper CD label, so I took the picture I wanted to a place where they work with tons of types of printings. They told me they could do a CD label in an adhesive paper, had it cut superficially so I could just apply onto a CD. Awesome. I left it there two weeks ago and didn't pick it up 'till an hour ago, 'cos applying a label onto a CD is simple and takes around 10sec. Same goes for the extras and my picture with Melanie, quick thing to do.
I woke up at 9am, went to this photo place right around the corner so they could print in photo paper my picture and the extras. It was closed. Ran back home, had breakfast and left to the mall. On my way there, the corner photo place was open (it was around 10am) so I went in there and told the guy I'd come back to pick it all up at 2pm, 'cos the post office closes at 5pm. Three hours to pack it all, still fine.
Right, called the CD label place, they told me I had to sign some papers before they actually print my stuff. Went there, signed whatever they told me to, and they said it would be done around 2:30pm... ooook, I still have some time 'till 5pm. So I came back home, had lunch, some MSN action.
Pictures were done at 2pm, as promised. The results are here:

Back to the CD label place (thank God my brother drove me there). The labels weren't done yet, which surprised me. Waited for 10-15min and there they came. They were in an envelope, paid for them, and didn't quite look at them. So I got home, 3pm, time to label my CD. Can you believe those motherfuckers forgot to cut the paper for me? So what I've got here is a three big A4 papers with a round picture and a white circle inside of it. I tried three times, and I couldn't cut it properly. Yes, lost my adhesives, lost my money, no time to get it done again. Stupid me, very stupid me.
My work station... my bed. You can see my notebook there, my very fancy Victor Hugo wallet, my gym gloves (yes, I had it planned but you'll see it all went down), and more stuff.

I still have a CD labeling kit, so I gave it a try. Maximum resolution on my ink jet printer, job done...

...not quite as good as I wanted, but... oh, well... it's not like Melanie's gonna look carefully at mine (but I hope she does, go figure). Here's are the results:

So, all set, ready to pack!

And here's the package, taking a peek at the heavy rain we have to face...

Down to post office, my one true surprise: to send that small box, I'd have to pay around 16USD. To send the same stuff in one of those plastic bubble envelopes, I paid 5USD. How amazing can that be?
Anyway, package is sent, Juju will get it in two weeks tops.

LOL.

kudos!
