I hope Sweden wins, my mission is to have all the BIG ones OUT (Germany, France, Spain and Italy).

Was hoping for a tie because of Markus Rosenberg, but I think Spain deserved the win. So congratulations!

I feel bad for Sweden, but it was fair that Spain won. They should've had a penalty and didn't get it, plus when Sweden's happy with 1-1 at half time and starts defending they deserve to lose.

Russia beat Greece, which means Spain finish as group leaders and will avoid Holland.

NO KIDDING about that damned no-penalty call!!! i was completely outraged. The swedish player wasn't even watching the ball, he basically charged at silva without worrying where the ball was going and bowled him over. Good thing they won at least, there would've been quite the uprising by Spain fans I think if they didn't!

I like that everyone's surprised now. As usual everyone's hoping and in the end they fail, like on IIHF 2008.

Dont agree. Sweden was the best at first, but Spain was better second time around.

Re: Group D - Greece, Russia, Spain, Sweden
sweden shouldn't have started to defend the way they did cause they wanted to keep the draw, serves them right...as for greece, russia was better but at least they tried to change their way of playing

Spain were lucky to nick it in the final moments but it was what they deserved. It was definately a penalty for the shove on Silva and Spain just played better all round.
Holland - Spain in the semi's please!
