Well he is born in Russia and the eurovision was in Russia, so It would be weird if he didnt say anything in russian on stage. Plus he spoke Norwegian aswell.

Sorry, but he was born not in Russia, but in Belarus

I quite liked the one with the two sisters with the gothicy feel type song I THINK they were from Armenia ? Either way I quite liked them

Anyone else love the UK entry? I thought she was great! I tune in every year to watch this show, largely due to Terry Woggan's commentry
[he'll be missed : ( ]. Us Aussie's had to put up with Sam Pang & Julia Zemiro this yr, who weren't too bad, however the overall standard of the Grand Final this year, I felt was much better. You had the typical songs, such as Greece & Ukraine - not bad, but not good either. I remember watching the first 9 entries & thinking there's only 2 not so good ones. Usually there's only a few really good singers, alot of alright ones, but 2009 was hard to pick bad acts. Hopefully this trend continues, then all that needs fixing is the voting... : )
